I said this before, if the NBA gives out a purebred racehorse instead of an MVP or a finals MVP, Jokic would average 60 points, 30 rebounds, 20 assists, 5 blocks, 7 steals a game.

Regardless of what people think, he's a professional athlete, that requires a high degree of athleticism compared to average joes like us. Any professional athlete in any sport has a high degree of athleticism, even people who race cars or swing golf clubs. There's alot more to "athleticism" than running fast and jumping high. Racecar drivers need core strength to withstand the G-forces and hand eye coordination to react to the uncertainties of controlling such a powerful machine, golfers need full body balance and precision to be able to maintain consistency in order to hit the ball where they want it to go. All aspects can be considered athleticism.

Joker is quite athletic. His strongest strength that a lot of people don't see is his stamina. He never gets tired, and he is always running fast especially during transition. Lots of centers have commented one reason they hate playing Jokic because they have to chase him across the court at all times or else he'll get an easy bucket or assist. There is a video of Ayton completely out of breath saying "how can Jokic do that that big? he can run bro" He can run other centers off the court with his athleticism.

People really bought Perkins and Embiid's stūpid mouths over Stats, PER and Advanced Metrics of Jokic😎
@PlanetOfTheApes999
@PlanetOfTheApes999 9 ай бұрын
People don't understand that advanced stats like PER actually mean something. They aren't just numbers; they measure a player's effectiveness just as objectively as basic stats do. The defensive box plus/minus stat measures how much a player contributes to his team's defense, and Jokic led the league in that stat last season, which means he's an elite defender despite the fact that he doesn't get many blocks or steals and sometimes has trouble protecting the rim. Jokic is always in the right place at the right time and calls out the opposing team's plays before they happen, and this is why his team's defense is so much better when he's playing. The Nuggets have also found a way to compensate for Jokic's problems defending the rim by using Aaron Gordon as their main rim protector.

Yeah man because you bought into that espn crap about him. This guy was battling teams like a god all by himself in playoffs without a second option on his team for 3 years. The minute the team was healthy, he won the chip EASILY.
