The incredible true story of Alexander Litvinenko who solved his own murder from his deathbed.
Litvinenko was rushed to the hospital after experiencing extreme vomiting and stomach pains, and his condition rapidly deteriorated. He insisted that he had been poisoned, and with a dogged determination to seek justice, he began piecing together the mysterious events that led to his sudden illness. Through several hours of incredibly detailed witness testimony, he recounted a lunch meeting with a friend and a business venture discussion with an old colleague from his home country. These vital puzzle pieces enabled investigators to solve his inevitable murder, which involved three men, a business meeting, and a poisoned teacup.

Fun fact: polonium-210 is also commonly found in cigarette smoke, along with the lead isotope from which it decays. @@Chris_Sheridan well no, whenever the bible mentions eternal life, they mean heaven. There are two options: heaven (eternal life) and death. So when John speaks of judgment day in the part you mentioned, it's about the people who have not made it into heaven rising from the dead, getting another chance to enter heaven. To live eternally on earth (or maybe to get reincarnated) is not something desirable. There is a reason buddhists devote their entire life to the purpose of NOT getting reincarnated.

In 2018, Sergei Skripal and his daughter were also poisoned by Russian agents with a nerve agent called Novichok. Russia has always been this way - there was only a brief period in 1917 where they had a democratic government, from the fall of the royal family until Lenin's takeover.

What surprises me the most is how utterly amateurish these supposed ''assassins' handled the whole thing. How hard can it be to figure out that a radioactive material will leave trace radiation. @@fluffy7358 Other reasons might be that, when talking about serious cases, you can't jump to conclusions easily. You need solid evidences and they probably need newer equipment to detect the radiation. I think it's the combined effects of what you said and these other reasons.

It wasn't the last time Russian agents were poisoning their targets in the UK. Later it was poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal with Novichok nerve agent in 2018. However it was caused by different two agents from a different agency (GRU), who were involved in other cases like blowing an ammunition depot in the Czech republic (2014 Vrbětice ammunition warehouses explosions). Also it's a sort of tradition in Russia. Similar thing happened to Trotsky, who ended up with an ice pick in his head (courtesy of his false friend with regards from Stalin), while living in exile in Mexico. Ironically Trotsky was supposed to be an extremist, so the party voted for Stalin to lead them instead. EDIT: Mistook Trotsky with Kalinin.
