Years ago I started my channel on an old iMac with iMovie, then in 2018 I moved to the MacPro 5.1, which is an awesome computer considering its age. Switching to Final Cut Pro took some time to learn, but since I got used to it it's actually fun to work with!

I really enjoyed this video in which you outline your minimalist approach. It's an approach that fits my own needs as well. I, too, am in the process of upgrading my Mac Pro 5,1, partly because I believe it to be a robust and versatile platform. As someone who operates on a tight budget it allows me to enjoy a quality experience without a huge outlay.. This video iis inspirational in its honesty and clarity and will encourage people to be creative on a modest budget.

You can actually use the Final Cut Pro Trial (from Apple's Website) and re-install it every time the trial runs out or run a command in the terminal that resets the trial everytime it ends!

I want to buy a used macbook pro mid 2015 I think I might also give a shot at making videos. So can it handle 1080p video editing. Or in general how much it can handle

It’s absolutely fine for 1080p videos. At a stretch I’d have been able to make this entire channel with a 2012 MacBook Pro, so the 2015 is capable, as long as you get the 15” model.

@@montaguebarnabasltd Thanks! I found a late 2013 15" MBP for cheap. This really does the job for me (I am typing on it currently). And your videos are awesome , keep doing the good work.(Just wanted to say this).
