U can use them in reverse, but technically shouldnt be used as breaker bars to break loose fasteners thats are torqued really high

That’s old school thoughts regarded split beam torque wrenches that only torqued in one direction. torque wrenches nowadays have on/off switches and the mechanism is exactly the same for both. Just as a thought, what would happen if you had to torque something with left hand thread??? There’s no such thing as a “Left Hand Torque Wrench”! I work in Aviation and we have to have the calibration checked on our precision tools every year, multimeter, torque wrench, dial indicators. If your torque wrench isn’t calibrated it can also give you the wrong results!

Mazda gives torque settings as a range and not a specific number. If most torque specs are a mid point in a range, the click torque wrench and Quinn torque adapter both are more than adequate. I like when torque specs are given because I have a tendency to give one twist too many. Thanks for the review.

They have bidirectional torque wrenches but arent calibrated in that direction unless noted by the calibration activity.

Some bolts are reverse threaded. You're not supposed to break bolts loose with them. You can torque either direction, though
