He stood out (visually) at the combine. Most athletic looking guy there. His college videos showed pro athleticism. He would of gone higher in the draft, but his stats weren't all that. Had injuries, but also flashing red light was he couldn't get along with Nick Saban. So, what happened in Vegas this last weekend was known back then. He showed signs of some of that. I'm sure this guy in the video helped him be a little better.

Why are we acting like 3rd round picks can’t be good?
@jetmirkorani852
@jetmirkorani852 4 жыл бұрын
Bcs NFL lives from the hipe, and the first rounders are always hiped more than the second rounders. Plus watching the draft is boring, unless it's the first 2 rounds. Those are the main reasons. Brady was pick nr.199 ; Richard Sherman was a 5th round pick. My point is there is always talent, despite the draft round. Most people (I mean fans) just don't bother to go look for it.

It really depends on what position group. You can always find Gems at Running Back after the 1st Round..... elite Pass Rushers, Tight Ends or Left Tackles? Almost never unless they come from a very small school and played against inferior competition in College so it's harder to assess how good they actually are, especially if the player isn't a "Senior Bowl" participant

Here is you next level challenges Alvin: - line up 5-10 half spheres flat side up, in a line and single legs hop from one to another - repeat this time catching and throwing back at each jump, timing the throw and catch as soon as you jump - repeat this time with staggered half spheres - repeat alternating legs - go to a room with a high ceiling and stand on your half sphere flat side down, jump squat while high pointing and catching a football or what ever - repeat using only a single leg - introduce another half sphere flat side down and jump squat between the two, still high pointing while catching For added benefits, do a full leg workout prior to any of these exercises. That way you have to do the balancing and explosion with greater emphasis on the weaker muscles as the greater muscles will already be taxed and tired. Maybe wear you helmet for safety. ha

@Tongolife
@Tongolife 2 жыл бұрын
I currently have to jump onto the flat side of a bosu ball at my older more uncoordinated age. Does Alvin jump on that ball, does he slowly one step up, or does he get set with the trainer? Whatever he is doing to get on the ball and balance is goal of mine. Something I did a time a go but I want to work towards today. If I can get close to matching Alvin's balancing, I mean just the balanicing ( a squat or 2, maybe throw some dumbells on there ). I would feel very arcadian and probably a bit overconfident for my next journey I am on in life. If you actually see these , I would love to hear what you actually think about the workout.
@bobmunro9104
@bobmunro9104 Жыл бұрын
I start by kneeling on the ball, slowly pick up one foot and put it flat, then do the other. Start with a spotter until you're proficient. There was a guy in the gym who trained the Canadian Olympic ski and snowboard team. He would walk into the gym, go directly to a ball, and jump onto it without breaking stride. I'd imagine that's what Kamara does.
