As an off-meta top laner, I personally think ppl should be able to find weird picks that they like for their role regardless of meta and innovate ways to make it work for them to climb. Riot nerfing those playstyles takes all that fun away from us.

Riot only nerfed it at that time because Baus brought insane publicity to the strategy in Korea. Imo, splitpushing isn’t a degenerate strategy at all. It’s when you can ignore enemies, die, and still get the turret easily is where it becomes a problem. This is just my take as a fellow top laner

I feel like they should reduce the base amount of gold you get from kills instead of doing all of those comeback mechanics. In dota 2 the only comeback mechanic existing is hero Bounty, and it's enough simply because kills aren't worth much gold. Sometimes killing your enemy in dota isn't even worth it because they get free regen after they respawn, meanwhile when you just keep them constantly low HP on lane, they can be zoned from gold and exp very easily giving much more advantage than 1 kill.

Lol is a game no matter how old or uneducated you are both in school and game mechanics to play the game. Inting just ruins the concept of gaming (having fun) for at least your 4 other teammates only giving you the benefit of gaming. More people makes bad plays than they do good plays and even more just click buttons, following others builds etc without knowing anything about the game mechanics that make it so strong. More means majority and since majority beats the minority (the ones who actually understand what they are doing) Baus is considered bad.

Yes I think he gets more hate than he deserves but this guy was legit just coinflipping macro plays while his entire team is miserable to play this game. He is a good player for sure like if you see him play off stream it’s like totally different he just actually ints more on stream to get views. Like if you are him, you are mostly banking on the fact that enemy team doesn’t understand how to deal with a split push pressure and eventually he just drags the game long enough to where his champ scales with hp well enough that it doesn’t matter if they kill him. Plus this guy hasn’t been consistent challenger since sion was actually op during his korea run. When that champ legit broken. The problem is his play style of getting teammates (assuming they don’t throw or die to the 10/0 irelia) more ahead and inting split pushes makes the game unplayable for his team where their only win con is like 40+min game lucky engage by him. Like who wants to play a game like that where the player on your team will always intentionally ruin all other win cons he can get his hands on

Not even close to it. Also, you could use your argument for every other game as well since there will always be someone having a bad game and inting. The difference is that they have a bad game and just lose while thebaus has proven that even with a bad game, you can win. If anything, he's showing the community you should never FF and that's as positive as it can get.

Ye but prowlers change wasn't aimed on Baus specifically. Prowlers dash got removed because it was u healthy for the game overall. Same with Stridebreaker dash and Galeforce which also were removed.
