Is it possible to use 2 mifi hot spots at the same time and stream through multi cam?

It is if you are willing to subscribe to Speedify. Run the app on the same phone/tablet as multicam and it will bond the devices’ connections.

When using the VM33, repeating router, and Mevo multicam, is NDI on the VM33 the way to bring it into Multicam? Or will the VM33 become a webcam at that point? I guess I'm wondering, after I connect my VM33 to my repeating router and switch to NDI mode, is the traffic still handled by the two routers, or am I now just finding the NDI input in Multicam and bypassing the repeating router? This setup is running at about a 60% success rate for me. What I cant figure out is if fighting a network configuration issue or a heat issue.

Yes, connecting the ipad (multicam) to the router and the VM33 to the router lets it handle the traffic. Failure in this setup is usually either a distance issue or line of sight obstacles.

Help please, I’ve watched all your videos and you do a fantastic job breaking down the cameras, their features, capabilities , etc. I’m needing some advice. I only want to use a single camera as we travel a lot. (2 kiddos: baseball/softball: 14yrs old/ 11 yrs old: positions C,OF/SS,P) I’ve viewed Mevo start, Nearstream V33, Emeet, Osbot trail cam, among a few others. I’m so confused as to which camera would be suitable for my needs/wants. Basically, I just want to video games to be able to clip highlights of great plays/great hits. (Recruitment/showcase purposes, son is at age, almost 15/9th grade, where he is beginning showcase ball) Probably won’t use streaming capabilities, but want it available in the event I decide I would like to stream (for family). Which camera would best fit my needs?

I answered your other post differently but from what you say here I’d try to jump in with the Mevo Core. If your kids stay with it you will have a camera that is a little more ‘future proof’ than the others.

Thank you for your response. I emailed you as well, before I saw this comment. You will see in my email that I ordered the Mevo Start and used it tonight for my son’s game. I loved the software features, but was disappointed in the video resolution. Im going to send it back. I think I would need to go with a 4K or higher. The Core would be amazing, but price point is a little steep with me not really knowing what I’m doing. Im going to look into the cost of the Core with the bundle of lenses.

I'm having trouble streaming my Mevo and then using the features to zoom as well as score via sideline? What am I missing? Do I need a wifi hotspot, router or do I just need one manage things on a laptop?

@@monicarangel8048 Streaming and scoring is a full load when you are changing camera shots too. Where is the failure in your streaming efforts so far?

Jason. I just set up my VM 33 using a 2nd slate last week. It worked. Have you ever used a 3rd slate router in the mix? If I put 2 mevo starts behind the dish they have a hard time connecting to my main slate network router due to interference or distance to where I'm at in the dugout scoring the game.

@@JasonHoffmanYT Roughly 80 foot and in a concrete wall dugout. I might try a magnetic mount to put the router outside the dugout in line of sight. I need it in range to my client WDS router though.

Finding that sweet spot where there is nothing line of sight between all the devices is tough, but magical when you find it!

Looking for a device to video baseball/softball games. Mainly to cut video highlights for recruiting/showcase footage. Don’t plan on streaming, but want to have it in case I ever decide I want to stream. I’ve looked at Nearstream v33 and Mevo Start. Can you help me choose which one would be the best purchase?
