Pure anger becomes just rage. Controlled anger becomes righteous fury.

Bruce Lee spoke about having "cool anger" as a tool. Meaning controlled anger. I have utilized that many times in my life and the one instance that stands out as an example was in a high school track conference championship when I was running the half-mile and someone tripped me to the ground in the first turn. I felt instant rage, got up, ran ahead of the pack, won the race against other runners who were supposed to beat me, and broke a personal record. I don't think I would have even placed if I wasn't enraged.

As someone who struggles with anger at times. I have found it best when angry to give it a productive direction generally without loved ones present. Eventually through meditation and mindfulness i intend to harness the anger so it isnt an issue.

Musashi clearly demonstrated that displayed anger is displayed weakness. I have come to learn that anger lets you know where you feel powerless, ego wants to prove otherwise.

Musashi truly was a universal genius. He covered philosophy and psychology to high levels. Even, without knowing it at that time, describing narcissistic personality traits and understood to use them, both as a weapon for himself, as well as observing how it destroyed men, without his influence. He also protected himself of all ways narcissists tend to attack. Cause these are true predators. But Musashi understood that beast, so he could trap it, and not be trapped by it.

Any energy at all is only useful if it fuels a purposeful action! Preferably in a controlled way that is beneficial towards the purpose of the intended action! Anger is energy and it’s better for it to be used towards a purpose rather than against it!

Does the tide change, to remain a tide.. does a bird, fly, with wings only up, or only down, to fly .. does a bird, only fly, or does they, also walk and sit.. do some swim? 🥷🏿
