How Axe Skillfully Informs Wizzrobe That The Set Has Ended

4 жыл бұрынIn this episode of Frame Data, we’re going to take a look at Axe vs. Wizzrobe in the Group Stage of Smash Summit 9. Sometimes, the most important part of a set is knowing when it’s over. These two players are cerebral, and we can learn a lot by understanding just how they think during a tournament set. We’ll be taking a deep dive into the many thoughts that went through these player’s heads during such a high-profile set, and how Axe specifically guides his opponent through the process of leaving the room after their set is complete.

The goal of the Frame Data series is to pick apart interactions which may get lost or go unnoticed in the big picture of a tournament. We're putting Super Smash Bros. Melee under a microscope to dissect the small interactions between players and show off what can make this game so sick.

Wizzrobe actually does consistently blink while techchasing to improve his reaction time. So in a non meme way, yes, Wizzy has optimal blinks.

Honestly, pop offs are often so hard to punish that you have to go for a 50/50 with crabs. This was seen effective on Hbox pop off to say the least

Counting the seconds that wizzy took to sip his water was a masterclass for sure. Pro players often use a sipping technique that is consistent with the meta, that was actually a decisive factor for Zain to win Genesis 8.
