It depends on how fast you reaching it. By my own experience you can go high with decent pauses, but if it's one go it gets harder with each time. One time every 8 hours is nothing compared to 3 times in hour/two, because in the latter case you can start to bleed/bruise yourself and afterglow just really calm you down every new time (if you can't sleep/in stress - try to go for a round). It's definitely real, but in most cases people think of it as an addiction, it isn't. But if your drive is making other parts of your life literally impossible to balance and manage, then that's when it could be classified as an addiction. If medical intervention is required for you to manage your drive and the rest of your life, that is not a normal scenario for a human. Long story short, if the interference of one's urges have in their professional and social lives is harmful and unmanageable, it's not healthy. But it is genuinely manageable for the vast majority of people, so people tend to over diagnose what sexual addiction actually looks like in themselves and others.
