18 April is my birthday and I watched that game. I was so sick to see that big hitting could be taken to such a level.

Baz's last statement says it all. It was a spectacular innings, but it meant the word expected that of him every time he played an ODI innings. He said he had to realise not every innings would end up like that and slowly New Zealand came to realise that too. I'd put his 302 test Innings as more important though for him as a player. This innings he changed the international game for sure, but that 300 proved he had patience and could bat long periods still & not be a short form plunderer who got out for wild shots.
