I just got battles and figured I’d watch some people play so it could maybe help me, how you guys know what to use and when and how much to eco is insane

This is probably too late, but if you just start, my suggestion is starting with eco. Use Dart to defend for cheap while you get your eco to 750ish. Then, you defend the bloons and save up 1500 for a MOAB. It's good for lots of wins early game to unlock more towers.
