Lead batteries are recycled by hand even in the modern day. I'm using a maruti 800 model 1996 that was used by my grandfather and it's still running well without any problem. I always do reapair when a small problem is detected making it's life longer. Because it's the US,you can get a V8 engine car under 40 lacs and what not Instead of banning stubble burning,they are behind only cars as if it's the only thing causing pollution in India You will get fat ass diesel cars with 3000cc engine in the US but still their city's AQI is not more than 30-40, meanwhile here taxes ke wajah se 1k-1.5k cc cross nai hota,usme bhi bharat standard ke nakhre aa jaate hai🤦🏻‍♂️yeh sab ke baad bhi humara AQI 100-200 kaise cross kar jaata hai🫠 India is probably doing this to combat pollution but it doesn't realise there are bigger reasons for pollution

Though they do pollution but still as they play a major role in keeping the people's daily life run, , can be taken for shake for now. But This is not in case of personal vehicles. A report says that upto 38% personal vehicles as used unnecessarily like for tour, , solo drive, and others where as this is not in case of commercial vehicles. . . unlike US EU, indian manufacturers only do RnD when norms are on knocking on their door, just like how kids keep wasting time till last day and study one day before exam. US EU does RnD 24x7 so they have technology ready and scaled for mass production before new norms come into play.
