Canon cart would be meta if it was 4 elixir

I think Cannon Cart would be more useful if it was able to kite building targeting troops in it's moving form

The speed nerf killed cannon cart lol, that's the only reason. It used to be popular in bridgespam and golem decks before that happened

I can see canon cart becoming meta if they add other cards that are able to switch from an offense to a defense

I feel like another issue may be the fact that it only targets ground. Most ground-only troops are either swarms or minitanks that both hit hard and have health. Cannon is good, but not AS good in those aspects. It's basically a bulkier, more costly musk that can't hit air

as someone who used Cannon Cart to climb Ladder before 2021, it was always fun to see someone ignore the Cart and have it take their tower just because they thought it would die right away. Nowadays Im just to used to running Skelleton King and Skelleton Barrel that when I touched my old Cannon Cart Deck, I felt so weird playing it in General.

Cannon Cart is my most used and favorite card and I 100% agree it it so absolutely slept on. For anyone who plays graveyard or mortar (my two main decks) PLEASE try a variant with cannon cart. I find that it can safely replace bowler in a lot of decks and can out defend, out damage, and out tank the bowler in this archetype. People simply don’t know how to defend it efficiently then you throw a graveyard on the tower while it tanks the bridge in building form? Gg. It’s also good for tanking the bridge in mortar decks and I could definitely find a way to put in in pump X-bow decks with enough effort because it can be placed in front of the entire X-bow. It is so incredibly slept on so let me throw a couple of decks here: Cannon Cart Yard (my current deck in grand champion no Evolutions): GY, Little Prince (could sub in Inferno Dragon if you don’t have Lil Prince it gives extra tanking), CC, poison, Log, Nado, bomb tower, goblin gang Cannon Cart Yard no evolutions no champions (the deck I ran before evolutions and champions): CC, Tombstone, Poison, Barb Barrel, Baby Dragon, Inferno Dragon, GY, Guards Cannon Cart Mortar (my second deck for when GY gets boring): Mortar Evo, CC, log, poison, goblin gang, miner, Little Prince, evo bats Cannon Cart Mortar No Evolutions no Champions: CC, Mortar (unevolved still is goated), minion horde, miner, fireball, arrows, guards/scarmy, spear goblins Hope this helps y’all if you’re wondering what decks to throw this incredibly underrated card in as it’s hard to work into things but when you do, it outdoes so many troops. Hopes this Helps ❤

Maybe they should give it a champion mechanic where you can press the cannon cart to instantly ground it

It’s not used more because it’s too easy to pop it from its wheel form (or whatever it’s called). No one who knows what they’re doing would let it connect to tower

One of my favorites, but after much use, I’ve found it hard to synergize well with many decks. Although an effective but expensive strat I like to use is have the hog rider push the cart so it’ll lock on the tower faster

They should invert its mechanics, it should be a stationary cannon like the 3 elixir one, but once it is destroyed it will become a mobile cannon (with just one life bar). You could defend heavy defensive troops and in the end get a troop to counterattack. this could fit well into more aggressive decks.

If the destroyed cannon card had a longer range so when its destroyed it can still attack the princess tower

the reason it isnt meta is because it does the job of an offensive troop then a defensive troop, why have a 5 elixir card in your deck when it wont be a building when you first place it, when there are lots of other buildings in the game that fill the same role such as the cannon or bomb tower. In nearly every deck, it makes more sense to have a defensive building and an offensive troop than to have the cannon cart.

I find cannon cart works great with mortar since both cards can take turns being offensive or defensive

Im a pretty casual player and use the cannon cart in a mortar deck to just distract everything while mortar does its thing

The biggest issue with the canon card is it's cost, 5 elixir is the most valuable treshold in the game. The same price of cards like ballon, royal porks or cemetary. 5 elixir is the start of the heavy weight win conditions but the weird end of support troops, they can't be way too strong to be it's own win condition but not too weak either for it's a risky cost. And thats a problem many other cards share like witch, prince, rascals, mage or minion horde

I LITERALLY USE IT ALL THE TIME. ITS SUCH A GOOD CARD AND COUNTERS ALMOST EVERYTHING

It’s good in control decks like graveyard, because if your opponent doesn’t have much elixir it’s hard to counter on offence with a positive elixir trade.

i’ve used cannon cart since the day it came out and i have it level 15. it is straight up my favorite card and it’s so versatile, in all my 8 years of playing it has stood out the most

I used to use it with mortar, but switched to knight a few weeks ago. The fact that cycle decks are judt becoming stronger, expensive cards will have a hard time keeping up with

i use this card in my main deck with evo mortar. the cannon cart is a great companion to mortar because most of the players will defend a mortar with a tesla or a cannon, sometimes a musketer or a wizard, and that's great because the cannon cart beat all those cards.

i think the issue with cannon cart is that its cost is a bit high for a defensive card, you see zappies in a somewhat similar situation where theyre great at everything they do but 4 elixir is just a bit too expensive

I remember back then when tesla was broken with its insane speed, I was the mid ladder menace with a mk cannon cart goblin gang deck where you'd push the cart with the goblins and reach the tower very fast

I love the Cannon Cart, it's my favorite card. But I do think it needs a buff, as it isn't played in like any archetype about at all. The biggest I could imagine wanting is a speed buff to Fast, but the possibility of it becoming too strong does exist with that. What (better) alternative exists? For me, a Hit Speed buff for the form on wheels (1s -> 0.9s) would be just fine.

I use to use cannon cart for a while. Its very good and can do lot of damage on tower if no one hits him and can be good defense. But i feel the elixer cost is the reason why people dont use it. If it was 4 elixer with a small nerf, lot of people would use it

Cannon cart always booms in usage under a heavy beat down meta. And e golem pump is a little too crazy. Shield guys are some of the best in the game lowkey too. Guards? Tank arrows. Dark prince? Premiere bridge spam card especially in free to play. Recruits? Alr nerfed into the ground. The ccart’s problem is bowler. Bowler is super S tier, the ram rider’s ultimate butt buddy, knocks back stuff, can snipe fellow snipers tank in front or not vs ccart dealin 1 at a time

I used to main golem cannon cart whenever Bana started to main it for so long, and as everyone is saying, the speed nerf killed it. Like said in the video, it is a very niche card and now it is pretty easy to counter, and once it's in its no wheels form its useless, to put it bluntly. I would even argue that even though its stats alone are pretty good, it is still a kind of bad card just because of how niche it is now and how it doesn't have a role, which is why it is at a 1% usage rate. They would kind of have to rework it a little since its never getting the speed back imo, sucks because it was my second favorite card.

Finally someone who can replace Gratz

Imo it is under rated but it’s a bit expensive when you can spend 6 elixir for the same defense and a counter push

I’m currently using Cannon Cart, and in my opinion it’s a solid card.

The cart should just transform into a stationary building everytime its attacking then transform back into a cart when it isn’t

Speed nerf killed the card. The only deck I remember it being decent was the one with royal hogs, mother witch, skele drags, cage, skele’s, log and fireball

Canon cart have a cool design for me

cannon cart only advantage is the fact it can't be knocked back easily so it counters bowler but Prince does that better and adds more offense in beatdown, bait and bridgespam. it does outrange range units but Evolutions has made cannon cart even weaker since Barbs and knight are very strong counters to the Cart. Evo skeletons and Evo Valk are also big counters too. and the decks in the meta that even ran cannon was golem and bridge spam and Golem is only good with E drag as Night witch has completely died from the archytype so she is dead. Bridge spam is also very weak compared to all the cycle decks in the meta. Inorder to see Cannon cart, night witch and cannon cart to be in the meta. Evo firecracker would need to be changed to die to arrows and firecracker dies to log, baby dragon would probably need a buffed to offer more splash. and obviously nerf Knight and skeleton evolution to make them less oppressive. and all buildings will need to be nerfed to make cycle decks less defensive because buildings are way too controlling to boxing out any potential of most decks.

The reason why it's because it's a 5 elixir card, because for some reason, a 5 elixir is cursed to not fit in a lot of decks, and the meta of the game is cheap spam, basically the cannon card is basically the worse and the best 5 elixir is the bowler and executioner, why because they have long range splash damage and tanky but still you don't see them much as again, cheap spam decks are meta, so no, it's not the cards fault, it's the meta's fault, well, unless they nerf the princess tower damage so it forced players to not all go In mass making a cheap spam deck as it would be harder to play that very easy, just like how hog cycle always is doing good, because it's a cheap spam deck

Nah it sucks that is why nobody uses it But people like me have difficulty countering it cuz we haven't seen it as much and I sometimes overcommit to get rid of it cuz I hate that it is tanky Flying machine gets me the same way
