Most people on carnivore diet reverse tooth decay, not me lol. Been trying carnivore plus Dr. Ellie Phillips complete mouth care system for almost 6 months, and I can't believe how much worse my teeth got. I can't recommend you try this to remineralize your teeth. My teeth were really bad as a vegan, I'm shocked how bad they are now without sugar.

looks like flourosis. it remineralized your teeth with flouride. just do the xylitol. But taking magnesium baths n magnesium lozenges best way to elevate magnesium levels quickly. And you need vitamin c for the teeth as it builds collagen. Personally, i was a big fan of xylitol... it really helped my teeth but what totally fixed my dental issues (horrible periodontal disease) was using a blue light tray and hydrogen peroxide 1.5 percent solution right after before i went to bed every night. I never had the mineral issues though to that extent. There's something you should know about too... it's called electrically accelerated and enhanced remineralization. EAER. It's a new technology. They put some minerals on your teeth, run a small current though, n the current drives the ionic minerals right into the teeth. Remineralizes them in one session. This is how the mouth remineralizes over time with saliva. Dry mouth stops remineralization as there are no mineral ions in the saliva going into the teeth.

I had problems with teeth and I have brushed 2-3 times a day with a toothpaste, occasionally used Listerine after. Now, being beef carnivore with exception of coffee for the last cca 1.5 years, brushing teeth once every 2-3 days without toothpaste, using a few drops of MCT from previous experiments and my teeth are smooth and without any deposits on... I do use flossing. Never had better teeth without any problems or sensitivity, my gums are now great. No odor/smell too.

Dental Hygienist Here 👋. I’ll help you: Just looking at your photo’s, it just looks like you have some surface stains on your teeth. They don’t appear to be falling apart lol, but you are in need of a dental exam and a cleaning with a hygienist. Stannous fluoride in products STAINS. The not flossing protocol is creating calculus buildup on your teeth…I can see it. That can only be properly removed by a hygienist once the plaque/biofilm has hardened/calcified onto your tooth. Your teeth are yellow because you have acid erosion, meaning your diet and oral hygiene practices have caused your enamel to wear away. Underneath the enamel layer is a layer called dentin. It’s naturally tannish/yellow in color and shows more when you lose the enamel layer on top of it. It also varies in darkness based on genetics. Looking at the before photo, I don’t see many changes in the enamel other than the stain. In your toothbrushing video, you’re brushing too hard and incorrectly. I can also see that from your teeth. You need an automatic toothbrush (Sonicare or Oral B) with a soft bristled toothbrush head (they both make sensitive heads that are very soft). Use very light pressure and move the toothbrush around from tooth to tooth letting the toothbrush do the work. Also, never brush your teeth right after a meal. Wait 30-60 minutes first. Use a toothpaste that is not too abrasive (skip the charcoal). Avoid all carbonated drinks even if it’s just plain sparkling water (too acidic). Avoid lemon water and a diet too high in acids. Our enamel gets worn away by acids. Bacteria in our mouth gives off acids too and affect our teeth if our diet is too high in refined sugar and refined starchy carbs (bread, chips, crackers, baked goods, pasta, etc.). Stick to whole foods, not refined. Fruit is fine because it has water and fiber, but limit the acidic stuff (citrus fruits). Some raw vegans I follow said the fruit has to fully ripen before eating it, otherwise it’s more acidic when it’s not ripe. I looked it up and it’s true. The pH changes as it ripens. Go get a cleaning and your teeth will look better. Getting rid of that calculus buildup from between your teeth will also prevent gum disease. And please please go back to flossing daily. I see way too much to ever recommend otherwise. Your teeth will never get whiter however because once the enamel is lost, you can’t get it back. But you can change your habits to keep it strong and prevent from losing more enamel. Your Welcome. 😉

Brushing with coconut oil after every time I eat solved all my teeth and gum issues. That was so simple and effective. I have one set (toothbrush, container with coconut oil & salt) in my car and next to my bed. As you can swallow the coconut oil after brushing, you don’t need a sink. Remember kids, if you have a bad micro biome in your mouth, it will end up in your gut each time you eat; make your mouth a palace of well balanced micro biome. As for the bit on iodine, it’s an essential precursor for the thyroid to make hormones so you need it. I simply put iodised salt in my coconut oil mix. Don’t do mouthwash & fluoride rinse. It’s bullshit as it kills the good bacteria too. It also enter the “rods” / “tubules” in the teeth (yes teeth are porous) and make your teeth sensitive. Give coconut oil & salt brushing after every meal a go. Some have mentioned possibly adding calcium & magnesium to that mix to remineralise .. sounds like snake juice doesn’t it 😂 but I don’t think it’s necessary. Only floss if you have something stuck between your teeth. All the rest (calculus, plaque, bleeding gums, cavities, etc) gets addressed by the simple mix above. I think you can also achieve this by brushing with bacon grease which is also salt & fat (plus a bunch of preservatives) if you are leaning more carnivore. The only things I found that woman said was true were: - Your dentist is either ignorant or has an incentive to keep you coming back - Gum massage by squeezing them with your fingers to help regrow receding ones. - How to brush in a way that doesn’t tear the gums - Saliva repairs the teeth, make sure you have plenty and are nose breathing in your sleep.

When you are drinking distilled water you need to add some minerals back into it. Find some ionic trace minerals add it to your gal of water. I use a capful of good State ionic trace minerals per gallon. Also never use mouthwash because that washes away the natural probiotics your mouth has. Also use a non-fluoride toothpaste. Water flossers are amazing! I use warm water in mine, and its so much more pleasant to use than dental floss. I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm a huge believer of professional dental cleanings 2x a yr, I just skip the fluoride rinse they offer. My dentist is super open minded, though. She's a believer in natural health, so I'm blessed to have her. Once a month I use a peroxide/baking soda mix to whiten...it's probably hard on my enamel, but to me it's worth it because I still drink black coffee daily (my addiction...everyone has one). My dentist told me certain types of gut bacteria causes plaque build up. I wonder what causes your enamel to not rebuild quickly. Don't let it stop you from smiling, you have an amazing smile. You look so handsome when you're happy!

Cleanings remove the biofilm. That's not good if it's healthy biofilm. For low risk dental issue people, cleanings are a costly waste of time (a UK study just verified this). And if they get too aggressive with scraping, they can injure the surface of the tooth and create sensitivity.

A bit on fruits: fructose uses a very similar pathway as alcohol in the liver. This pathway for conversion has a ceiling / limit. More than 6-12 grams of fructose a day (this depends on your liver size) and you get toxic effects, not the same as alcohol but “in the same way” as alcohol symptoms come after a certain dose. Starches don’t have that problem. (Turn to glucose only) Meat & fat don’t have that problem.

Also rely on wild blue berry smoothies with Moringa powder and nuts and seeds often try for 4-8 bottles spring water per day. I have fell off the fasting one day each 7 day. But I definitely felt good doing that as well. I have history of prolonged steroid and antibiotic use because asthma and eczema and heart blood flow issue. So many years later I’m still paying the price I try for probiotic foods as often as I can. Also when it comes to calcium do some raw dairy if your body agrees with that. Also keep in mind these things take time so just because you have some negative reactions immediately maybe try not to back out of it. Note: Ashwaganda powder helped me destress a lot. My situation calls for more carbs so though I’d like to go carnivore and watcc high my bad situation finally get better I must rely on carbs I do fruit and honey and Moringa Also I do teas from time to time. The enamel builds itself with saliva and minerals going from the pulp upwards via the rods. All you need to do is avoid acid that dissolves it. via food (not sucking lemons) and killing the bacterias that convert carbohydrates to acid - strep mutant and pneumoniae - whilst leaving the others able to create a protective film over the mouth internal parts. Or eat no carbohydrates - that will also get rid of the bacteria that thrive on carbs.

To not cut myself with floss, I'm using either a teflon like band or a fluffy-style floss. AND: the plaques I continue to clean off weekly with my ultrasound teeth cleaner. Works well so far, but I would rather not have to do that... But I guess it's better than developing a strong build-up that could also lead to paradontose. If others don't have better ideas, you might want to try the latter too @Kasey, since it also helps to get rid of coffee/tee stains. Cheers mate!

It really does look like chlorhexidine staining, like another commenter said. Check your mouthwash ingredients and then go to the dentist for some cleaning and polishing. Edit: I checked and none of the products have it and when I came back to the thumbnail I can see it is a progression of what was already going on =( For mineralisation, can you eat escarole lettuce or arugula with your meat? They have an excellent Ca:P. Same with cabbage, if you can do that. Collards are excellent if you can do those. They are low to medium in oxalates, dep on who you ask. My experience is that they're low enough, because my dentin became bright white when I consumed large amounts of them.

You need to brush your gums to bring the blood to the surface, then the stem cells move in and start repairing your mouth. You don't need any toothpaste. People use it for fresh breath. They also make Closis toothpaste. I use that because it's fluoride free. I had a gap between two teeth from grinding them. In 3 months, the gap is halfway closed.
