In today's episode i am explaining how a centrifugal jet pump works.
This pump actually belongs to our relatives who lived in an area where the source of water is underground aquifers.
Soon after the pump was installed in their bore-well they started seeing golden particles coming out of the pipe.
First they thought they have gold in there property but after few minutes the pump started making weird noises. They knew its the pump that is ejecting brass filings
They thought that the pump was defective so they bought a new submersible pump and installed it.
Months later when they moved to a different place where the water is available from the local authorities they didn't needed the pump any more and they wanted to sell it, but can't due to the problem that his pump had, so i offered them to take a look inside the pump and see if i could fix it.
Now as i know its a minor defect and can be easily fixed i am going to put it back together and hand it over to them.
Plus i got a chance to make a video on this pump, and show you how it works.

I have removed the jet at the bottom and fixed a foot valve. one pipe only working now and another one is closed. since it is a old pump it is being used in water sump for lifting water above first floor. now it working fine....

Bro i think u got one thing wrong, there is no gap between the part with two holes u r showing the ejector assembly and the foot valve and all these are at the bottom of the two pipes at the water level

This is the link for installation kzfaq.info/get/bejne/asxzh697pr_Gk5s.html Two types jets are offered now a days one for large diameter borewell with two parallel running pipes that go under ground and the other one is this one with two pipes going in between one another, the advantage in this type is smaller diameter bore well, minimum labour compared to large diameter well.

@@ItsAboutEverything01 bro i think this is single pipe model, i think there is no drive pipe here to create the suction at the bottom. It depends on the ejector nozzle create the pressure to push the water up. My understanding is this model is for shallow bore wells around 25 feet depth. But normally we use two pipe model with return pipe and drive pipe to create a suction effect at the bottom too most places we use deep bore well.
