Just a little. Without the Cultural Revolution, there were more problems in China than in India. Think about Britain's cooperation with the Qing Dynasty at that time, and there was endless debate about how many British envoys should kowtow.🤣

Sometimes india need to learn from China as well. Whatever China did is not wrong it feels bad for some people because when you hate a person you hate Whatever he do isn't. whether it's good or bad. just think when india banned the tiktok lot of Indian's lost their job become unemployed but it's not caused big problem for China. If you think tiktok is bad for students then government have to ban instagram or any other social media apps as well. I know there are other reasons also there that's why they banned tiktok. Sometimes we should also need to learn from others whether its China or any other country. we are all not perfect in everything our government has to give more attention to education,health or infrastructures and spend at least 5 to 6 percent of GDP on that.

My friend from Guangzhou told me his grandparents used to live on insects and almost no food during the revolution, and now, they run a grocery business in 8 countries, the growth of China from 0 to one of the most powerful nations in the world is truly amazing and should be learnt from rather envying. I am currently living in China, and the experience has been amazing. Our media often presents us with fake news and negativity about China, which is far from the truth. I have discovered that the people here trust and love their government. They are genuinely happy and proud of their country. Chinese people are hardworking and well-behaved. When I mention that I'm from India, people treat me with respect; no one has ever said anything negative, and everyone shows respect. They often mention that Buddhism originated in India and inquire about Amir Khan. Chinese people do not hold grudges against Indians, unlike the grudges some Indians have towards them. The way China plans its cities and pursues development is truly impressive. The efficiency and innovation are top-notch, even in the poorest areas. The government focuses on uplifting its people and improving their lives day by day, making sure no one is left behind. It was a marvel to witness how they manage a country with such a large population. I wish every Indian could visit China, engage with Chinese people, and understand the reality instead of solely relying on media information

In China, if you talk big and don't work hard, no one will look up to you. In a word, talk less and do more. It is very hard for China people to live in the present, do what they can on the same day, and work overtime for about 12 hours every day. China people think that they have been plundered by the West for nearly a hundred years, but China thinks that he is not strong enough and knows how to reflect on himself. I interviewed people in China, who said they were third world countries. Until the end of this century, I interviewed Indians, who said they were powerful, which puzzled me.

Outside China we are surprised why people of China do not protest for Democracy! When they see, their country in top as super power 2, even challenging America, why should they bother about democracy or any other form of political system.! And, any government gives priority for education and health, that country automatically develops. You can see this in the West, especially in Scandinavian countries.

You need not be a pol sci student. We Indians are barricaded towards achieving our potential due to multi party federal system inspired from westminster model. The biggest advantage PRC gets is from its Unitary structure & centralised administrative system. Due to this, at the lower level of governing bodies people remain in order with the higher level organisational goals. The CCP can implement any policies it wants without tension for forwarding the country. Something that we miss out in our structure & systems in India due to multi party Quasi-Federal structure resulting in autonomous powers of the state governments always leading to centre vs state, state vs states etc. It abrupts the national unity and lack of uniformity in development spheres as different autonomous state governments might take their state forward other may ruin it but when the stats will calculated it will the generalised overall national one.

I am in China since last 13 yrs and I have seen enormous development Have in one city have seen subway line from two lines to now 20 subway lines Cultural revolution was v scary when I read do watch the movie Farewell my concubines equality between female and males is worth noticing here They opened up for English and now students are coming back with western knowledge You can walk around alone at 2 pm and its still safe and its abeautiful country with so much diversity in geogrpahy and food

Around 2012 during TCS interview when I said population is strength not weakness. Interviewer didn't took my view as valid during group discussion interview. I was firm on that thought. Little I knew was china utilising it's population. After 2020 china is super power country. You won't see xi jingping tour every now and then.

History cannot be separated.The progress in 40 years is truly astonishing. But in 1949-1980,China did a lot of things, even if some of them didn't end well. Good things like breaking the influence of feudalism, advancing women's rights, laying the foundation for industrialization, educating the people , Kind of like North Korea today, poor but able to build a nuclear bomb and launch a satellite. It's just a matter of accumulation.If one day North Korea starts to reform and open up, I think it can reach a higher height than Vietnam.
