Let’s dive deep into China’s surveillance state, from facial recognition installed in highways to getting social points deducted for jaywalking, China is watching, always. A growing number of classrooms in China are equipped with artificial-intelligence cameras and brain-wave trackers. While many parents and teachers see them as tools to improve grades but it has created a lot of problems for students. China is testing a new plan to urge its citizens to do more good and be more trustworthy - the Social Credit System. A high score could bring you lower interest loans and discounted rent and utility bills, but if your score is low, you can be subjected to public shaming or even banned from certain kinds of travel, life gets hard. There’s a lot going on in China which we don’t even know and today we’ll figure out how ahead China is from the other world in terms of technology.
