@@amikkelsen Dear brother, yes exposing lies is our whole life's journey as Christians. Hopefully learning to do it in love. But not all of us do , or want to. My experience is that some of us, have built up a fantasy world where we can avoid being accountable for our actions. Some would say more women than men do this I think both do Someone may feel so fragile that they don't think they could handle the truth. And if you come along in their life and you insist on making them face the truth of life, you have made a lifetime enemy. I know I've had this happen several times. Simply bc the truth stings but it leads to freedom! So I have a woman friend, she and her brother are my roommates for now. He has three dogs, he really does not take good care of them, they bark all the time, truly they are neglected. I spoke to her about it, basically her position is leave my brother alone, those are his dogs and it's no one's business! But I said it's a danger to both animals and humans to never take them to the Veterinarian for checkups for vaccines etc. So I'm being asked by her to look away and pretend that he's a great dog owner and overlook the obvious. I couldn't so I brought it up to him one day and again respectfully , but he didn't appreciate it, and her reaction was downright hostile. Her name is in the lease and she can ask me to leave , knowing this risk I said what I had to say, bc to not say can make one complicit! There's a situation where a young mom had abandoned her toddler daughter bc she was addicted to drugs. She took off with a boyfriend and she wasn't around for months. I went looking for her and her boyfriend all over the place with my Bible until I found them and read scripture with them and tried to show them the love of God. Thanks to the Lord's goodness and mercy they are back home and working their way back to a productive life. As I visit them and their daughter one day I mentioned that the horrible scourge of the drug addiction has destroyed many families, by having mom's and dad's sometimes abandon their children where in their right minds they wouldn't have done! That became a trigger on her part. She became very angry with me, telling me that what I was saying was a lie. I felt like I was just going over what happened that got her and her family to that point so we all can learn and grow and mainly know what to look out for so we don't fall in the same hole again. But her family that surrounds her will not say anything that will upset her. So if she says that never happened, they in order to keep the peace just go along. She has gotten to where it looks like she will attack me, bc I won't go along with the fantasy she has constructed in her head, where that reality never was. Do you know what the definition of a person disconnected from reality is? Insanity! Peace!

I would pray for him that our heavenly Father would intervene and, of course, save his soul. There is mental illness in my family. And I've learned it's better to rely on God and make these opportunities a ministry. I've extended this thought process to those outside my family. And as another person said, boundaries are necessary to protect yourself too. I've seen miracles take place, praise God!

I understand what Dr Heiser is saying, but then this is my issue - so with the enemy, spiritual forces of darkness, pushing with their agendas the way that they are these days, we can clearly see this happening on different fronts in the natural, for example, look at how the "woke" agenda is being pushed and the speed with which it's being done, it's not natural, there's definitely a dark spiritual force behind this global move - so how do we engage this - trying to deal with a precarious situation in the natural when it's quite clearly spiritual in origin is dealing with the symptoms, not the cause, it's not going to work wholeheartedly tackling it in the natural, so how does one tackle the cause which are the dark forces behind this evil playing out in the natural - how do we then use the authority Christ gave us against these agendas spiritual in origin?

Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. People who seek interactions with angels are risking meeting a dark angel. This is what happens in the new age. Mediums, psychics are interacting with dark forces that they believe are angels of light. I have never heard a medium say, 'yeah, I knew the entity was evil.' They always say something like, "I thought I was serving God/doing good/speaking with angels.' People open themselves up to trouble when they seek encounters with spirits.

As one continues to live more and more years, one's loved ones and friends will be "promoted to glory," to the heavenly throne room. Although it's a sad time for us, we can trust that they have made it through the process of dying and of final purging, and that they are indeed, since "absent from the body," "present with the Lord." It is reasonable to want to still pray for them, as we did when they were still with us, and also to ask the Holy Spirit to carry our requests to the Lord, and to join our praises to theirs. This is all easier to understand with more life experience, i.e., getting older.
