Ok, Rami Malek is going to go down in history as one of the greatest actors of all time. He really is good at portraying different kinds of genius in extremely different characters. From the disturbed and aloof genius that was Elliot from Mr. Robot, to the eccentric musical and performing genius that is Freddie Mercury in the Bohemian Rhapsody film, and now as a Bond-villain-style evil genius. Even experimenting with different kinds of filmmaking like in his motion capture/ voice actor work in Until Dawn (where he also played a vengeful psychologically disturbed character). Rami deserve every bit of praise he gets and more.

@@theancientsancients1769 the charm itself has never been Bond's deciding feature for me. But the whole package. Daniel is as robust as Sean and as elegant as Roger. He has a presence of both and looks like someone who can actually put the money where the mouth is. Meaning, Daniel looks far more likely to do things Bond does. Roger and Sean always looked a bit awkward in physical scenes compared to Daniel. With Daniel I finally had the feeling the arrogance was justified. As far as Bourne series, they don't come even close to Crag's Bond movies. They are watchable, yes, but I can't relate the two one bit. In any sense. As I can't Bond to MI. I am sorry.

I maintain Glenn Foster's agent character, Mitchell, in Quantum of Solace was meant to be the first 'Bond boy' (from around the time there were rumors of more sexually fluid Bond); James is indicated to have known the personal bodyguard of M's better even than M herself did (or anyone else in the agency for that matter; where as James is quick to point out how Mitchell didn't smoke, when M handles the ashtray she gifted Mitchell in his apartment... and 'someone' has been letting Bond into M's personal place few times over). How ever accurate or not, it certainly adds a lot of layers to the eventuality of the two agents' chase sequence, and the very next move of a stoic-acting Bond going on a rampage to *kill* (not apprehend for interrogation) Mitchell's contact. (Reflects nicely to the eventual famous reply to Silva, too: "What makes you think this is my first time?")

Wish the title was "How Phoebe Waller-Bridge Made Sure No Time To Die Wouldn't Suck Like Spectre | The Graham Norton Show," - because that's more or less what's going on for 1/2 of the clip. P.S.: Can relate to Rami's reference to breaking through creative roadblock. When you finally find the way out - and if the solution improves a scene or the narrative - it really _does_ feel that good. Even better when you see it come to life on screen.

From my point of view I didn't dislike spectre that much, it was just cookie cutter. however with all the other nonsense phoebe's done (apparently there was a lengthy creative process-weird that she wasn't SUPER BUSY when this was happening-where her and that woman trying to usurp bond's position wanted to include wedgie-picking elements and a part where tampons were thrown out. to really show that these women are........women. blechhhh)

Rami Malik = Determination, hardworking, driven, rejection, desire, ambition, destiny, struggle, naturally talented and humble actor with no attitude problem. He and Gal Gadot were typecast in stereotype roles as supporting and character roles.

Was it just me or was the overall chat a bit stilted. I know they can’t reveal much but they had little to offer otherwise. At least Daniel was in better humour than his appearance on Irelands Late Late Show where he mumbled and stuttered for the entire interview. Lashana is a joy though👍🏻

It did feel off, though this is the first clip I've seen of the set with them all sitting separately (seems I've been watching clips from years ago), which really changes the dynamic. It's so much better when they're all smooshed together on the couch, the conversation flows better, and people seem more relaxed with each other. Maybe they'll be smooshed together again soon. :)

@@megan2176 I think it's a bit of both. Them being very far apart while also having to be extremely careful with what they say during a very promotion heavy interview kinda makes for bad conversation. The best Norton moments are usually just the guests screwing around which they can't do when they're expected to heavily promote a project while there.

@@Angels510 You're so right! And it's a curated group rather than a random one, so it's not as fun and juxatos-y. I love an odd mix of completely unrelated celebrities. Plus, were they even drinking in this clip? That usually makes for an entertaining episode. ;)

I'm intrigued by this film. Craig's films have had really high highs (Casino Royale and Skyfall) and some missed opportunities (so Spectre and Quantum of Solace). Seems like they really wanted to make this one great and they were going more for a Skyfall vibe than a Spectre one, if that makes sense.
