This sermon catapulted me into my healing after being harmed and assaulted by two Pastors and multiple men, including my own previous husband. I later became a trauma therapist as a result. One of the best in my town. Thank you Pastor Mark for speaking fervently on this. Healed me deeply!

I was raped at age 23. I am not a victim but a survivor. What baffles me is the loathing and scorn we get from across the board. From authorities, medical teams, husband's, boyfriends, friends, parents, siblings etc. For the shame women have for themselves, men who are raped suffer in silent shame, too. Rape is horrible all the way around. In today's world, it is becoming way to prevalent. I pray for any survivors/victims reading this. Women/men and children. You are loved and so very precious.

We are not immune to desensitization. Repeated reports of these atrocities can and do lead to numbness until it comes closer to home. I could be wrong but I see it as a defense mechanism. We can only take so many appalling actions. It's not unlike what uniformed services have to do to do their jobs.

This sermon was a turning point for my husband years ago when we were just a young married couple . It shook him to his core and caused him to start taking his faith and his role of husband seriously. I still remember him watching it for the first time. He then made sure every young man in our circle watched it. He and I felt at the time that your anger was justified and it was just what some men needed to sit up and take notice. I felt very emotional listening to the story behind it and we feel your pain and frustration. Thank you for sharing it. Keep preaching the hard truths sir, you are making a bigger impact for the kingdom of God than you will ever know!

@@BiruksonofGod.343So sorry, but this is just a terrible thing to say to someone who has been through assault and trauma like she has 💔💔 Do you have any idea what it feels like to carry something like that? Walking with pain, PTSD, anxiety, all the stuff that comes with being treated like that is not a choice. She can't just choose to 'walk by faith and receive it' and wake up healed 😳 It doesn't work that way. Yes I'm a Christian. Yes I believe God heals us. But with something this complex, healing takes time, can be painful to walk through, and can take many years. This beautiful soul shared something personal with us all. Let's not grab Jesus' love for her and shove it in her face like some kind of shaming device 😓💔👎🏻

Thank you! I can’t tell you how affirming this is. I stayed in an abusive marriage because our pastor preached constantly on the sin of divorce. Jesus opened my eyes when said pastor proudly proclaimed that he counseled a wife to stay with her husband after he nearly killed her. I didn’t have the ability to express the rage I felt at this. Your “how dare you!!”, said it on our behalf. Thank you

@@heavymetarismyway9741 Every Spirit filled Christian who knows Jesus understands that there is righteous anger and God has given man the place of being provider, protector and closest companion of his wife and family. Men are commanded to love their wives just as Christ loves the church (His people) and gave His life for them. Too many churches don't preach the full gospel and truth any longer. It'll be a sad day for many when Jesus returns. Satans most clever deception was to get people to believe that he doesn't exist. His whole purpose is to cause people to be weak, especially in the church.

Many years ago I got angry about some horrible things going on in an organization that wasn’t Christian, but preyed on Christians and worked their way into using Churches, just like that thread scam above where they are trying to get your money with a little bit of truth and false benefit tied in with layers of lies, they would use scripture to abuse Christians by twisting it(made it seem like they were the victim, if anyone got angry and acted like anger was a sin and their apathy was a virtue and sign of authority against rebellion.) Nope! That scripture twisting and narrative changing is the same thing Satan tried to do with Jesus(even offered Jesus the world come up when Jesus already had the world), Christians need to know scripture better than the devil does so they don’t fall for the lies or spread them. “In your anger, do not sin.” It doesn’t say don’t get angry, it says when you’re angry, don’t sin. scripture makes it clear God gets angry and God is perfect. Anger is not the only emotion that we some how feel is of no value. There are a lot of people whom the Holy Spirit has made grieve so they make changes or are motivated to no longer live in their sins or undealt with issues that doesn’t mean die, just die to the issue. Yes, some take medicine to be stable enough to learn the habits and have the healing as the true imbalances in their body are straightened out according to God‘s design but others let depression give them a life of apathy towards living where they think they’re better once they’re on the medication but they’re actually worse as they never address the root, there are other people, who see into the spiritual realm and they’ve been repeatedly told their crazy by the experts of this world, no you’re crazy if you deny demons and fallen angel’s or follow what they say, but if God gives you vision of what demons are puppeteering an individual that’s going to be hard(Joseph had to learn to be wise as he shared his vision of his brothers bowing down to him that caused his brothers to take offense and want to see harm come to him), unless you have the Word of God and and relationship with Jesus enough to understand your purpose. This stuff is serious, others try to medicate Demons and time and time again we found those who commit mass murders or off themselves were already taking their medication, but they never got Jesus and Deliverance. Mark 16 makes it clear with the Christians call Is, yet you have some Christians debating, Like the snake in the garden, did God really say that a sign that follows all believers is… and instead of trusting what scripture says, they prefer to trust what let’s them take part in the deadly sins of slothfulness. Apathy is against the character of God. “Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit and serve the Lord!” Romans 12:11

People are afraid of what the world will think of them if they speak up against those things than they are of what God will do to them for remaining silent. It takes courage to speak out in “cancel culture”. I really don’t care what the world thinks of me. I never have. I do care a great deal about being faithful to Jesus, and being faithful to His command to uphold His Word, and by His grace, and through the strength He gives me, I will never fail to uphold His Word, no matter the cost. We have to speak out against the wickedness, and speak the truth of the scriptures.

@@move_i_got_this5659, our good works are the result of the indwelling Holy Spirit, which we only receive once we’re born again spiritually, and baptized into Christ by the Holy Spirit. I’m speaking of the spiritual baptism in John 3, not water baptism, although I believe water baptism is important, but it’s the baptism of the Holy Spirit that redeems and reconciles us to our Heavenly Father. Very few professing “Christians” are spiritually regenerated and indwelled by God’s Holy Spirit, and we know that because they don’t produce fruits of the Holy Spirit, and Jesus said we will know who is truly His by the fruits they bear. The good works the Holy Spirit does through us are not what redeems us, but they are the evidence that we have been redeemed and born again from above, and those good works are for God’s glory alone. These works produced by God in us should come naturally to a spiritually reborn & Holy Spirit filled child of the Most High YHVH, which is why Jesus says His people are known by the fruits that they bear. Jesus also says that spiritually regenerated believers don’t all bear the same amount of fruits of the Spirit, but we’re all equally sàved, even those who bear only a few fruits of the Spirit, because each of us is at a different level of maturity in our faith. You don’t expect a new convert to Christ to bear the same fruits as someone who has been redeemed and reconciled to YHVH through Christ for decades. The more spiritually mature we are, the more fruits we bear, and we grow spiritually when we read God’s Word. A poll that was taken showed 70% of evangelicals in America deny the deity of Christ, and anyone who does that can’t be born again spiritually, because Jesus says He is the I AM of Exodus 3 in John 8, and those who deny His claim that He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the same God that Abraham and Moses worshipped in the OT, they have denied the deity of the Father as well. Remember that the serpent has sown tares (false believers who aren’t spiritually reborn and regenerated) among the wheat (spiritually regenerated converts to Christ), and they will be separated by Christ at His return, but He is showing us the difference between the two now. Look how many “Christians” are apostates, who support and condone what God calls sìn and an aßomination to Him. They’ve been deceived into believing that tolerance of everything, which includes tolerating wickedness, and inclusivity, yoking yourself to everyone, regardless of whether or not they are Christ’s, has been sold to them as what Jesus wants, which is completely opposite of what scripture says. That’s why we need to read God’s Word, and pray for discernment, so we can distinguish between what is of God and biblically sound, and what isn’t.

True Christians are conformed by the Holy Spirit to be like Christ, while false converts to Christ are conformed to the image of the world. If 70% of professing “Christians” are not spiritually reborn and regenerated, and indwelled by the Holy Spirit, then it would explain why the vast majority of “Christians” support unrighteousness, and few stand up and speak the truth of God’s Word, and uphold what is righteous to God. The “church” as a religious institution, is full of spiritually dèad people, as you can see by the way “Christians” flock to “churches” led by false teachers, who will tell them what they want to hear, but they will never open the scriptures and do as God commands, which is to preach the Word, to literally teach the scriptures verse by verse, because God’s Word convicts us of our sìns when we hear it preached, and leads us to repentance. In other words, preaching the scriptures verse by verse doesn’t feel good to the ones hearing it, because God’s Word says we’re not good people, that we’re wretched people who live in opposition to God, which is why we need the LORD Jesus Christ as our God and Savior. That’s highly offensive to the majority of the world. You’ll find small congregations where there’s a righteous servant of Christ behind the pulpit teaching people the scriptures, verse by verse. However, to spiritually reborn and regenerated believers in Christ, God’s Word is like food for our sòuI. When true believers get caught up in a church led by a false teacher, they are starving spiritually.

It basically sent me into an emotional shock that took sometme to rise above it. It starts out just being heart broken that a man could harm a woman, I will never understand that. Then you feel the evil in that, then you get angry, yessir I understand. God Bless

Admiration and deep respect for you my brother. How dare you to the "know it all" self righteous leaders in the body of Christ who attempted to shut you down. Stand strong Prophet of God. Many in the body of Christ greatly love you and support you. Gods still got a lot to say through you.

Thanks for that powerful story, that is more than that of course. It’s a powerful testament of strength & resilience of the human spirit. People sometimes think a Man who shows his emotions is weak. It’s completely the opposite thanks Mark for standing in the Gap & calling out weak cowardly Men ! God Bless you Sir, god bless you !

I remember watching that sermon in 2009/2010. I started listening to Mark around then and was starting to learn so much sound doctrine and that moment hit my core and encouraged me to respect and protect women even more so. Hearing the back story is actually even more impactful than the clip could ever be.

I feel the same way…my wife, is all I’m saying. My mind wonders in scenarios and it doesn’t end well for anyone. Laying hands on, pretty much any woman, will get a violent response from me. I need prayer.🙏🏼

I remember that. That “controversy” is what helped me on my healing of my sexual assaults. I got help after that. I didn’t realize men weren’t supposed to hurt women. This spoke deeply to me when I was in my early twenties. It’s funny how everyone experiences situations differently. I will always be thankful for You and Grace. I know you took a lot of criticism for that. But it made me feel incredibly safe and seen. So thank you. Took me a lot of healing to even want to get married. Now I’m in a relationship with a godly man, who loves Jesus first.

Pastor Mark you have nothing to apologize for making the comments at the men's conference that you did. You were spot on and the rebuke you suffered from Lindale was totally uncalled for. Steady on young man and continue trusting in the Lord to fill you with His word.

The narcissism in this! His main point is "Why aren't you as Holy as me?" as he lists all the "richeous deeds" he's done in ministry. Get over yourself! You can stand for protecting women while also being humble.

Pastor, im a Christian and a father. My wife and i have our own children and we’ve adopted foster kids, all teen girls. These things have happened to both of our adopted girls before they came to us. Their whole lives have been this way. I can tell you, as a strong willed man, i wake up pissed every day of my life. I was saved by Jesus when i was 40. Im now 54, and i know without doubt that God put me on this earth to save and protect as many of these kids He brings into my life. There is no retirement from Gods path for me. I will do this until i leave this world. Nobody will touch these kids again as long as i live, and they will know what Gods love is in their life. Stay pissed until every single one is saved. God bless you

Pastor Mark, thank you for your dedication, for your perserverence, for your Spirit filled work. I pray that the Lord will strengthen you and protect, and bring healing to you and your family and to further empower you in your ministry. You have given us a tiny glimpse of the righteous anger of God the Father. He is slow to anger, but his wrath will come to those who do not turn to him and repent.

Truthfully concerned pastor here I’d love to hear you speak more about these things you’ve been accused of. Why is it so hard to separate the harsh opinions people I respect have of you, and yet see you preach such powerful messages… my life has been radically changed by your impact. I serve in a church where 3 lead pastors have been accused and convicted of horrible sins (affair with daughter in law for 20+ years). How did you come back? Where can I find your testimony of ministry?

Brother Mark Holy Spirit sent me here to encourage you. I have finally understood what God requires of me. As I fully submit to his will I have been encouraged to come here and encourage you. I believe you are fully led by Holy Spirit and have submitted your entire life to Jesus Christ. I know these things because no one in my life currently is. God is using you to reach into the darkness and bring his children out of it. It is those of us who were farthest away who recognize most clearly what Jesus Christ did on the cross for us. Do not be concerned with what the world thinks of you, but only what our Heavenly Father does. May our Heavenly Father make his will clear to you. And let us all fully submit to Holy Spirit that he may help us to walk in Righteousness for his namesake Amen ✝️

What I’ve always found so sad is over my lifetime I’ve come to realise, I’ve never known a girl/woman who doesn’t know another girl/woman with a SA story, usually as a child usually more than one girl and one time. Get similar feedback from men too, who all know one or more girls who’ve shared that with them. It’s sickening to have it dawn on you over time just how common it is. As if it wasn’t worse enough it happens at all. It’s healing to visibly see and know, there are hearts and minds out there who care and who are also men. It’s very healing to know that.
