I had my husband ask to come back in January and he suffers from depression but after 6wks he decided to go back to his ex because I didn't understand his depression as good as her. Even though I looked for ways to be more supportive at the same time try and rebuild our marriage his depression made it very hard. He just left last Thursday and I found myself so drained physically and mentally because of weeks of staying up late to make sure he was ok. In the end I found it very challenging.

Marriage and family are the most important things of all I've learned the hard way I wish I had a spouse willing to work on the marriage like you are it is draining but he will realise in time that he made the biggest mistake of his life, I hope when he does that you are ready.

I suffer from depression. I have gotten help and my wife will still not come back.

I think I have depression and I’ve been taking to a therapist about it. I love my partner and I don’t want him to get affected by this, and I’m just thinking wouldn’t it be better for them to just leave, he doesn’t deserve or need this extra load in his life

I think depression with my wife opened the door for her trying to reconnect with an old ex. She wants to leave our marriage because she is just not happy. She told me that I have done nothing to make her unhappy. Right now I belive limerence with the ex is her drug of choice.

SSRIs can have terrible.aide effects, including uninhibited aggression and increased sucidal thoughts. Please take care to recommend these withiut addressing this.

Maybe the depression is that your spouse has enforced a sexless celibate marriage for 15 years and refuses to address it. Her depression is creating depression as a result of the killing of the relationship.

If you suffer chronic depression eventually everyone leaves. Get a dog hopefully he won't run off.

One more definition for depression 😂, push the BS in your life out of the way, followed by the depression, brain manipulation brainwashing doping down, don't screw around the brain, it will just lead to further chemical dependency and confusion.
