Toji is this stronge only because of the heavenly restriction so anyone saying "imagine if he also had caused energy how powerful he would be.." well very weak I would say coz then he won't have the heavenly restriction. Also toji polished his power (physical power granted by the heavenly restriction) to it's maximum but that only amounted to fight somewhat close to gojo who was not only ignorant at the time (he didn't care to practice his own powers to master them or learn everything his abilities allows him to do) neither was he even close to his prime. So..... anyone saying "toji was strong enough to beat gojo" or "toji was a s strong as gojo" or even close to him is so wrong I can't imagine

@vegboylokesh7778 there's many variables that would play into his strength if he had cursed energy. He wouldn't nessicarily be weaker because he would have cursed energy to Amp himself with. Also he is part of the zenin clan so I highly doubt he would be just an average cursed user. And although it's true that gojo wasn't at his prime. To say he didn't practice is definitely wrong. When he tried using red for the first time on screen he failed and said that he though it would work that time. Implying that he had practiced it before. And heavenly restriction or not that is still his strength. He was miles ahead of gojo in the first fight and it shows cause of how easily he beat him exhausted or not. He played his cards well and used what he had to his advantage. He even says that he was starting to knock the rust off implying it had been a minute sense his last job. I'm not saying he would beat prime gojo because the second round shows that he couldn't but you are downplaying him slightly. Because if it wasn't for gojo forcing himself to learn reverse cursed technique last second he would be dead and never have mastered his full abilities like he has today

"He tried and failed and thought he will do it later" is another one saying he didn't practice his own power well enough. Now, The heavenly restriction on toji is that he doesn't have cursed energy at all and in return he gets all the power(the physical power. It's not likeasta that people think. It's not the result of just hardwork and training, it's literally gods blessings). Not that that power is his own. That statement is literally wrong. If it's true then gojo having his prime power should be compared coz that's also "his own power" (and gojo's literally is but that's also an anomaly so i won't count it). So if he did have cursed energy, aka, did not have heavenly restriction, he wouldn't have that power. Yes he could have been a good sorcerer and "maay be" have a nice cursed technique. But again how many , even good, sorcerers can defeat gojo? None basically. I am not taking credit from toji, but calling him even close to gojo is just people cheering for someone who could finally scratch the unhanded god that's all.

That's not plot armor. That's called an entertaining story. Protagonists and MCs don't have plot armor vecayse they are special. He came, defeated Gojo long enough to kill riko, defeated Geto, and is EVEN ABLE to take riko's body to the clients and even when he lost the final fight he still got someone to raise his child that he loved so much even if he had just unremorsefully merc'd someone else's and even after his death the bad blood still flowed cause now geto comes to a realisation that the humans they're protecting aren't worth shit and that apparently makes him the no. 1 enemy of his own best friend who now has to kill him let's not forget that this even gives the Glizzy gobbler himself Kenjaku a chance to advance in his plans...

Toji killed a Gojo that cannot even use the curse technique, Red. A Gojo that doesn't even know how to use reversed cursed technique. Was tired for days using the six eyes with no sleep. He was only stabbed after he deactivates his six eyes. When he can stay fresh by using reversed cursed technique 24/7 to activate the six eyes non-stop to make the neutral limitless a somehow passive skill, he was basically a God. It was not a plot armor but a way to have a character development.

Besides RCT asspull, Toji, who is an assassin who finishes his work perfectly, used a different blade when he can use inverted spear of heaven. 2 plot armors at the same time. Remember, he had the one and only Six Eyes as well the most OP "Limitless" but still need this kind of plot armor. Gojo is a fodder when a character bypasses his limitless. he's lucky he got that limitless barrier against Sukuna or else Sukuna will beat him in hand-to-hand combat (Sukuna had to sacrifice his CT to use domain amplification).

gojo won to plot armor. i don’t think anyone can disagree that tobi is smart. why tf didn’t he use the inverted spear of heaven to stab gojos brain instead of a slim long screwdriver looking normal blade? or just behead him completely with it. it’s just plot armor, toji planned ahead for so much other shit but couldn’t plan for reverse cursed technique? or atleast to guarantee the kill via beheading or headshot with ISOH? nah. he isn’t that dumb. not expecting reversed cursed technique might be too reasonable if i major lowball toji, but insuring your kill is 100% in reason especially on such an important and strong individual like gojo, and using ISOH to do so is pretty common sense. even gojo himself said that that’s literally the reason toji lost, was bc he didn’t finish him off or more simply just used ISOH for the headshot instead of the normal slim blade. that’s all why it’s plot armor for gojo. his experience on deaths door which allowed him to unlock Purple wouldn’t have been possible if the plot armor/toji iq nerf didn’t happen bc he’d be dead, but gojo is gojo so he can’t die he is the face of JJK so he needs to stay alive no matter what. i will be very surprised if gojo dies for real fighting sukuna.
