How Did Jesus Define Leader
Mac spoke at the Bethel Church Leadership Summit in August 2022, addressing around 300 volunteer leaders. In this talk, he described how many people in the church define leadership through a cultural lens rather than a biblical lens. As a result, believers aren't always leading like Jesus; they are leading like their favorite cultural leader icon.
Jesus had this very same challenge. Even his own apostle's misdefined leadership. So Jesus had to set them straight by giving them three descriptive words that helped them see what a biblical leader really is.
