Finally someone giving the match a fair analysis. You've earned a sub. I'm glad you brought up the chances when Vini had poor control. RM played well and created chances. Everyone is saying that Madrid had no chances which is far from the truth. Keep in mind that Man City's most dangerous chances by Gealish were after the 85th minute - which is expected since Madrid were risking it and pushing on the attack at that stage of the game. City played well, but so did Madrid.

I'm happy you brought up vini's poor touches. That was in contrast to rodrygo's brilliant touches and camavinga's as well. That's the biggest area vini needs to improve. Hos touches let him down in the biggest games. It also happened against PSG but benz was able to take advantage. That's one area I feel rodrygo has an advantage. He's more efficient with his touches while vini has more flair.

One thing that won them the game is that they have good accurate crossers and good headers too😊 when you have the two, it’s easy to win at anytime.

They are clinical. It is weird to say but Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea, PSG they all were not clinical in their matches. Liverpool against Inter for example 2nd leg it couldve been 3-1 for Liverpool. Man City too could ve won against RM in the first leg like 6-0. PSG could ve won too in their first leg. Same goes for Chelsea in the 2nd leg against RM not clinical enough.

Madrid presses with multiple players in the box in the last 10-15 minutes and they think it's lucky when they score in the last minutes.

@Javi Oz don't think it's fitness. Benzema wasn't really trying that hard to press city in the beginning, maybe they save their stamina for the last mins. I've seen benzema being sluggish all the time from way before only before a few year I found out why they don't press so hard in the beginning.

Great analytical explanation of this semi final. RM are masters of the come back Kings. They have done this time and time again this last season in the La Liga and UCL. @@salamence999 Vini's decision making and scoring ability have been improved significantly literally at the beginning of this season when he people including myself were opting him to go on loan. Either way, Vini's primary job is not to be the team's main source of goals but to be a traditional winger; taking on defenders, putting crosses in, creating chances, be a counterattacking threat, participate in the press as well as to get involved in the ball winning battles on the flanks. Scoring goals for him is one of those tasks, not the one out of all. Salah's main job is to be the team's main goalscorer, comparable to then Aguero, 20-21 Werner, Benzema now, etc. Vini is more comparable to Mane, albeit the latter contributes to the team's defense more.

Real Madrid won’t need another LW if Vini JR improves his finishing and decision making. The amount of potential goals and/or major plays he has wasted is ridicules. That being said, he’s having his best season of his career. He did a 360 u-turn on his passing since last year and now he just lacks on decision making and finishing. If he improves, we can let go of hazard and sign a good RW and Striker

well, it's not secret that it was always Pep's tactics...... whole midfield and offense up there pressing...... BUT, when they face a team that is able to play precise direct football, City's defense will get in situations where their midfield won't be able to help out the defense...... and that's where their ultimate weakness lies...... you can see that even in PL..... everytime a team steals some pts from them, 90% of the time, it's because they find a way to overlap that high pressing..... and once those defenders are on their own, they are screwed, because none of them is brilliant at 1v1 defending...... they simply mostly benefit from great positional play of the midfield

Replace Vinicius with Mbappe. Holy, shit...Real Madrid is going to be scary with just 1 player added to the existing roster. Vinicius should train himself for ball control. Brazilians are generally some of the most gifted players in ball control and trickery. Its so pathetic to see a Brazilian that while a good player, doesn't have the usual Brazilian flare that you expect.

I know tactics are important in football.. But whatever you say madrid is so so lucky this Season against psg,chelsea and city as well.Some goals are like against psg of their own mistake and against chelsea and city as well..but one thing i have to say madrid hoped until 90 min they have confidence to score 2-3 goals after 90 min.i liked madrid confidence..but for man city they losted their confidence they thought 2 is enough for them to beat real madrid..but accidentally game changed...

accidentally. lol you have very poor choice for words, there are no accidents and madrid did not get lucky that their opponents committed serious mistakes, it's in fact the pressure and ability of madrid that made their opponents dig a hole for themselves. just re-watch each game of madrid and you'll see that they don't succumb to pressure they keep trying and keep their game intact and that's what everyone is calling LUCK.
