Also, Replacing the heart into the mummy was crucial to royal mummification, as the Egyptians believed the heart was the seat of the soul. Here is how he might have died genius, He either had an accident, or it was a battle wound. Either way though, he had a fracture in his left knee!

i would say complications of Malaria and arthritis according to the CT scan it is shown that he had clubbed feet and has he got a bit younger before death he was in pain through out his life he got he either contracted Malaria by insect or somewhere else. i would say this is what killed King tut (tutankhamun)
