Could you manage 17 kids while going on holiday? Are these women just addicted to having babies?
This show follows some of the UK's largest families and investigates why and how these families are able to add to their already massive households. We visit the Radford family house who are pregnant with their 17th child! Both Sue and Noel definitely haven't lost the magic and want their family to keep growing! We join them as they go on holiday and explain to us the process of taking their family abroad. Could you handle the stress?
We also meet the Sullivan Family who are at 9 kids and counting, and what's even crazier is that they are all home schooled! A household of boys with only one girl and mum Tanya! Currently, Tanya is pregnant with twins and is so happy she's going through the process again!

With all these big families, they rely heavily on the older siblings to help the parents. It's not right!

How on earth do these couples afford all these children? Seriously I can’t imagine the expense!

I understand people want big families but honestly there should be a limit. The more pregnancies, the more riskier it gets....its unhealthy for the kids born later in life and also unhealthy for the mom. I mean, The Sullivan family had 8 miscarriages. Plus....how on earth can two people afford to raise that many kids? Some kids are bound to be ignored, get less attention and usually the elder kids are expected to help out which isnt fair because the parents decided to give birth to more kids than they can handle, thats not the elder child/s responsibility....they deserve to be kids as well. No kid or parent would ever get a moment of privacy (which is just as important as family time). It has to be very stressful taking care of that many kids...like seriously their wish for a large family is stronger than their common sense?

I believe kids need guidance yet from what we see the homeschooling isnt going well. No structure. People have a right to have as many children as they want, yet they have an obligation to care for ,love, and educate these children. What price do the older kids pay?

The constant screaming in the background would unnerve me. Let's just say not all of us are cut out for that lifestyle.

Not all mothers give up their children because they are unwanted by the parents, my cousin was forced to give up her son by her mother who threatened her daughter to force her to give her child up at birth.

I wonder how the kids themselves will feel when they’re adults. It would be so interesting to interview them in a few years to find out

Sue and Noel, in order to round up all the kids (if at home or out in public) why not establish a whistle (maybe 3 loud sharp notes) calling them to you? With a large number or only 1 child, it’s wise to establish a ‘habit’ that makes them drop what they’re doing, and run to join whomever is in charge. That could mean mom, dad, big brother or sister, grans, etc. Protecting and sheltering our little ones is so important! 🥰 When I was a kid, my brothers and I spent an afternoon learning to make the loudest whistle we could…didn’t need to use fingers at the sides of our mouths, just blew, with our tongue up against our bottom front teeth. It surprises people in a crowd when I let a whistle rip, lol! 😝 Being able to get the kids attention quickly sure eases anxiety and worry. Even if you buy a whistle and carry it on a lanyard (cord) around your neck, you’ll have it with you at all times. It worries me to see you panicking whenever one (or more) of your children is missing 😂❤

Years ago, I would have been so judgemental about couples who have large families…I was “very “ narrow minded and not aware that I was taking out “my own” ignorant, insecurities on a group of people who I knew nothing about, who couldn’t answer back!
