@@Erich8101 They have 1,700 employees, that makes them so dominant. Because factories, machinery and materials are all regulated by the FIA, one of the things that are limitless in development is staff. In comparison, Red Bull Racing has "only" 600 employees. I know that only a handful of them are actual engineers, but my point is that Mercedes have more.

Those comparisons are not accurate as you’re mixing engine and chassis teams. Our chassis team in Brackley is very similar in size to the two companies in Milton Keynes (Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Technology). To compare with our engine team, you would need to add the number working at Honda!

Well, if you use TV footage, you might not get exactly what you want to show. Drivers get 1 shot to get a corner perfect, so a mistake might not work well for their demonstration. In a game, you can take the same corner multiple times with no issues and you can run the track solo. In the race, drivers also take different lines or brake at different points to conserve tires or fuel or to shorten their lap times. A simulation game is a controlled environment

Can you use servos to close and open the brake ducts to keep the cool air out on a track like Monaco so you can keep more of the heat in? So the servo being led by a temperature sensor and can also be overridden by a manual switch. So basically when it's getting too cold it keeps the cooling duct closed longer until the temperatures go up.
