It's a bit dull, just a partial vacuum to create a pressure differential. Bit like outer space....
@makizermalias59683 жыл бұрын
If you use colors changing to display the pressure instead of moving lines (like red for high pressure or blue for low), it would be clearer. Other than that, great video.
@mohitbagri47592 жыл бұрын
It's not about pressure... It's about fluid movement and it's direction. He could have used something else to avoid confusion.

question, if the brake fluid in the reservoir is betwween min and max ( so there is air on top when you close the lid ) does that affect the system ? if its full and exceeds the max does it pop the lid out when you try to brake ?

Okay but how do the servo and master cylinder work? Because surly my foot on the brake pedal isn't enough force to stop my car while moving. So how do they increase the hydraulic pressure?

Nice video ! But I wonder, as the front brakes are closer to the cylindre than the back ones, there has to be more pressure, and therefore a different braking power, right (energy loss) ?
@Spraiser74 Жыл бұрын
I think it is conserved because the liquid does not compress so the transfer is as if connected unlike with pneumatics ?

good video. so changing the hydraulic liquid in the reservoir is of no use as there is no liquid circulation in the break system.

thanks so the brake pedal pushes the pull rod pushing the servor an goes through the hydraulic lines into the reservoir the brake fluids are put in there so the hydraulic lines dont blow up then into the whole car an that's how a brake pedal work's

The master cylinder applies pressure to the hydraulic fluid it doesn’t push the fluid at all.
@Spraiser744 ай бұрын
Liquids do not compress, it is movement by pushing. Pressure is for pneumatics fluid is actually pushed around mechanically. That said however you want to imagine that closed system operating is up to you. Thank you for taking the time to watch and to share your thoughts. As break fluid ages there is a risk that gas (or indeed air) can get into to pipes and this can be disastrous. You apply the pressure with your foot and leg (which have give), the servo assists (vacuum from engine) then it’s closed system from then on in (some flex in the break pedal). See drum breaks for a different approach.

Quite true but this video animation was designed for a basic intro. Much as I’d love to have done more animation costs a fortune and takes a lot of time and so cost to produce. Fun as it was additional animation was beyond the scope of this piece of work. And it’s free for you all. If it helps great, spread the word. If not thanks for watching anyway and hope you find the right one for you. ATB

If two friction surfaces are put close but don’t “bite” they wear. Like rubbing two sheets of sand paper together. If the sand paper is clamped tight no wear. If you rub together they wear out. This means you just have shiny metal against shiny metal that just slides or in the case of sand paper just paper slipping against paper. Does that help?
