I keep it simple, and go with the base Topps card. Not hard to get, and not expensive. More important is the consistency within my collection. A base Topps Jordan Walker for example has the potential to fit alongside my Ken Boyer, Bob Gibson, Ozzie Smith, Willie McGee, Albert Pujols and Yadier Molina rookie cards.

Love the Braves...the only thing I hate is they have too many star players and like this past year if one player kills it.. "Acuna"...then the other playets get overshadowed...Olsen and Albies had an awesome year and Riley was still very good...yet their prices never rose... Everyone was wanting Acuna..this seems rare in the hobby..i think a team could have 2 stars that move..but no more...for example Ohtani/Trout... Great show guys...glad short prints and variations are back..

I'm not a Braves fan, but I love the Topps Chrome Update variation where he is signing a card. That is one I have (have a few Harris RCs), and is probably my favorite. I have a Chrome Black auto, which looks really sharp.

Really fun discussion even though I dont collect RC cards of current players unless they are already a lock for the Hall witch we all know that short list. I do collect Gold cards since they have been around since 1992 but more importantly since 2001 when it truly began. I love topps gilded and I am collecting all the non playing days cards of the greats. From that set. Most people seem to toss them by the way side and us vintage collectors who also love modern shine seem to be scooping them up for next to nothing. Keep up the great content. I love that you guys stick to talking about cards and not other peoples channels and drama. 🤙🤙

As a Miguel Vargas super collector it has been tough as there are so many RC options. I like the sapphire golds, chrome true gold, heritage black refractor. Avoiding all autos since there are so many and I have the bowman chrome gold auto. RC overload this year for sure

NHL does it kind of right. You have your Young Guns card as the Rookie. They’re limited in each hobby box , pack etc.

I think the video itself answered the question, there’s thousands and thousands of golds from various sets, but only one black refractor. My vote is definitely the heritage chrome black.

I'm a big Kelenic fan, sad to see him leave Seattle, but glad you're happy! I have some cool cards of his, was buying him mainly during his injury last season, so good deals! On another note, you’re right about the Bowman Chrome Sapphire image variation cards being some sweet cards. I have the JRod rookie orange parallel and could stare at it for an hour 😂. I agree with what Chris said about Henderson. Would like to see him put up a strong second year and avoid the sophomore slump. You ought to send a picture of that white board to topps. Figuring out what to collect shouldn’t be this difficult.

To me I believe that whoever is buying a player they should think how much money they are willing to spend like a price range then see what brand fit that price but make sure that price range to yourself is fair.

Good point about the Rookie shield and 1st bowman stamps. I was targeting the bowman sterling acuna from 2018 until i saw it didn't have the rookie stamp like ohtani, devers, albies etc. I guess they intended for it to be a prospect card.
