Michael Pearl answers a question sent in by a viewer; a question that many people have asked: 'how do I get right with God'?
Of all the questions that could be asked, that is the most important. Because unless we are right with God, nothing else matters.

Thank you Mr. Pearl for your straight forward Bible teaching. I feel like a child, I want to sit at your feet and just listen for hours to you teach about Jesus. My dad is almost 70 and he is so thankful for your cds , he cries sometimes with joy as he listens. He is very sick, but I'm glad he has found Jesus and loves God. the Messiah always guided believers to learn from and live by the teachings, which are good for our spiritual well-being (Matthew 7:24) we can ask, having read the Gospels (that is what the Messiah said), is it wiser for a person to try to learn to be more kind and understanding, or is truly wiser to say 'I believe and so I should not try whatsoever to learn good ways', which of these speaks to genuine belief and faith, and which (as dichotomies go) leads away (Luke 6:46) let's keep trying to learn through the teachings good ways to live, most of all trying to learn to be more kind and understanding with others (if carefully at times in a dangerous and saddened world, Matthew 10:16) He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Prior to even researching into the Bible I accepted Christ personally after watching a movie. As silly as it sounds my faith has only gotten stronger I've been researching and looking at all the evidence for the the Bible that God has not lied to us one bit only the world.

To my brother in Christ I can tell that you're a very wise man when I look through your eyes the way you speak and how you conduct yourself. I don't mind other people reading the Kings James version at all for me I can't understand the old English language plus I'm a slow learner but I do catch on some things well let me rephrase that I do catch on the things it takes a little bit it depends what I'm studying if it's math or different kind of reading. For me I like to read the ESV Bible or the new Kings James version or the New American standard Bible and the NIV Bible any other Bibles in my opinion if you go down further and then you will see that it just doesn't make sense that some Bibles out there starts changing the Lord's word in the sense. But all those Bibles that I said you can take Proverbs chapter 3 verse 5 and 6 and write them on a piece of paper that you'll see that is no change and the Lord's word the Bible said I mentioned is word for word Bibles and thought for thought Bibles. I would love for a brother and sister that can pray for me that the Lord will strengthen me through my suffering that I'm going through late stage Lyme disease for the past 6 years sometimes I feel like giving up everyday I'm fatigued chronic gut issues my joints ache my eyes are heavy at times Bright lights bother me and I'm only 35 years old and the sickness that I feel sometimes is hard to describe. But I know the suffering that brings us closer to the Lord thank you for eating my message your brother in Christ Nick. PS here's a verse I like to give 1. John 1:7

How do we get right with God?, If we are believers, we became right with God the second he saved us and will always be right with God no matter how wrong or far away we may feel towards him. Getting right with God has nothing to do with salvation. We are saved by the blood, but even if we are saved we can disobey him. This is a good video for her. It is what we always talk about when she asks about her salvation. If there was anything she is not doing right when it comes to her faith we would be happy for someone to explain. We continue to pray for her and search for answers. She needs deliverance.

We can know we are saved if we have trusted in the gospel of salvation in 1 Corinthians 15 1-4 the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. His finished work in the cross when he shedded his blood as full payment for our sins! The Bible says we will face many trials but the Lord will see us through them all ➡️Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.” Also we have power in the blood of Jesus to cast out scorpions and snakes and all evil ➡️Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” I will keep you and your daughter and family in my prayers 🙏🏾

We can be demonically oppressed, but not possessed. When you are demon-possessed you cannot control yourself - when we are saved, we are truly free. We can do good on our own will and vice versa. Having peace in mind and thinking about the good will relieve you from the oppresion. But action comes next, if you want to grow from fear, which is one of the deepest oppresions. Preaching boldy or studying or reading the word can also relieve you.

@@sixtenalin9751 It is possession. It speaks through her, not her voice. She was watching things on line without me knowing up till the beginning of the year. At that time she turned to the LORD. There was a long battle over her mind. Maybe at that point she was only oppressed. When she realized something was there that's when she asked it's name and it started speaking through her. Maybe that's when it happened. We also are trying to take objects out of our home. No one was following the LORD but me at the start of the year. I have been praying. @@Crust2013 Good news brother! The Holy Bible tells us from Genesis to Revelations that if we repent (turn from sin, and sin means transgression of the law) and obey the Lord out of love then He will send us the Holy Spirit and give us the power to overcome sin; then at the second coming of Jesus Christ we will meet Him in the air! 🤗 And also, unless a soul has a converted heart they will not see Heaven.

@@Crust2013 Negative. We have the freewill choice to sin, but choose not to. However, if we do commit a sin during our walk as a Christian then we can pray and ask for forgiveness of that sin then repent (turn from that sin). Because of our fallen nature we want to sin. But with the power of the Holy Spirit given to us that ask for Him daily then we can overcome sin. This is the gospel that is available to the whole world; salvation through Jesus Christ. Like how that woman that Jesus told to "go and sin no more". It’s so wonderful, the Lord gave and still gives me strength to overcome my fallen habits. I'm so thankful for Jesus Christ. When I was an Athiest and experienced true heart conversion this is how I knew that Christianity was real. The Lord changed my heart in ways that I never could and I ended up reading in the Bible later on the same conversion in men of God. I'm so thankful for our Saviour! 🤗 I love you brother! 😁

Bring right with Yehweh is not a feeling, but the will to follow Yehweh and His word. Backsliding is satan telling you that you're not right with God, and you are not worthy of God's forgiveness, but when you understand the Lord's Prayer, you will see that we ask for Forgiveness each and every time we pray. Pray as much as you can, and believe that Yashua ( Jesus) will deliver you at your appointed time, just as He told Peter. Once you come to know and understand whom God is, His Authority, Power, and and His Love, your eyes will open, your knowledge increases, and your understanding is clear. The time of Repentance is Now, and even the evil ones know that their time is short, and that means the time for God's children is even shorter... One thing everyone must understand is that the Sabbath is NOT on Sunday, but from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. The first day of the week is Sunday not Monday. I say if you want to know Yehweh, you must start with the first book Genesis to read the decisions that God made, and why He is and His judgments on this earth, the Book called the New Testament is for people like me who are gentle's, my Blood is made pure by the Blood of the Son of God, whom makes me clean. Yehweh is like the most Understanding Father a child could have, but can be the harsh firm hand of justice when we sin. Without Truth we live a lie. Without Justice we live in fear. Without Courage, we are slaves. Without Honor, we are currupt. Without Compassion, we have no feelings. Without Faith, we are separated from God. The Wrath of God is far closer than you think, prepare yourself's and make sure your lamps are filled full. May Yehweh Bless and keep you and yours.

Hi Michael, curious how you would interpret the following. Among many other examples, here is just one that shows that the WHOLE BODY OF THE BRIDE is already in heaven before the tribulation even starts. I've found that it's wise to read different translations of the bible because not all of em are consistent. Words are added or taken away. We’re called to rightly divide the word of truth by not applying scripture to those to whom it was not meant for or addressed to as I’ll explain. We also must compare scripture with scripture to verify accuracy & also to take the whole of the bible in context to verify that context is not lost about the subject or doctrine being taught. We do not apply pre cross or post rapture doctrines to that of the post cross church/bride. I'll use the example of the virgins/ bridesmaids parable. We all see through a glass darkly & we try our best to understand this amazing book called the bible. Here's just one of many proofs that the whole body, bride, church, what ever you want to call us is already in heaven during the tribulation. As far as the parable of the ten virgins goes, the following verses show that the whole body of the bride is already in heaven during the tribulation & the virgins, tribulation saints, are what are called the guests that will be present at the wedding feast of the bride to Jesus, they’re not the church/bride. The church/bride is a group of people comprising both jew & gentile that accepted Jesus during the age of grace. Once the rapture happens the age of grace comes to an end. We see the bride calling out to the people of the world to come to the wedding feast. The virgins are going out to meet the bride & bride groom, not take part in the wedding. They’re not the bride, that privilege ended after the rapture. Many versions, including the one most people say is the only perfect translation, that being the KJV, even leaves out this, what I think most important word, the BRIDE. In my humble opinion, leaving the BRIDE in this verse would clear up a lot of bickering back & forth about the truth of the pre-tribulation rapture. In the following verses the church is the BRIDE, the WIFE, the YE, the THY, the THEY, the THEM, the THEE & my PEOPLE. Aramaic Bible in Plain English Matt 25:1 "Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be compared to ten virgins; the same took their lamps & went to meet the groom & the BRIDE." Church = bride, tribulation saints = virgins Douay-Rheims Bible Matt 25:1 THEN shall the kingdom of heaven be like to ten virgins, who taking their lamps went out to meet the bridegroom & the BRIDE. Church = bride, tribulation saints = virgins Bible in Basic English Matt 25:1 Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, the friends of the BRIDE, who took their lights, & went out with the purpose of meeting the husband. Church=bride, tribulation saints=virgins Wycliffe's Bible 1382 Matt 25:1 Then the kingdom of heavens shall be like to ten virgins, which took their lamps, & went out to meet the husband & the WIFE. Church = WIFE, tribulation saints = virgins The following are in most modern translations but I think the concept that the bride is already in heaven during the tribulation is lost for many. Isaiah 26:20 Come, my PEOPLE, enter thou into THY chambers, & shut THY doors about THEE: hide THYSELF as it were for a little moment, until the indignation (Time of Jacobs Trouble) be overpast. Joel 2:16 Gather together the people, sanctify the church, assemble the ancients, gather together the little ones, & them that suck at the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth from his bed, & the BRIDE out of her bridal chamber. Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, & YE that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth & of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. Rev 13:6 & he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, & his tabernacle, & THEM that dwell in heaven. Rev 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, & the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, & King of kings: & THEY that are with him are called, & chosen, & faithful. Rev 18:23 & the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; & the voice of the bridegroom & of the BRIDE shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. Rev 21:9 & there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, & talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the BRIDE, the Lamb's WIFE. Rev 22:17 & the Spirit & the BRIDE say, Come. & let him that heareth say, Come. & let him that is athirst come. & whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Psalms 45: 13-14 The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold. SHE shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her COMPANIONS that follow HER shall be brought unto thee. Luke 12:36 & ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return FROM the wedding; that when he cometh & knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. Christians = bride/wife/daughter Jews/tribulation saints/companions/friends/bridesmaids = virgins

Matthew 25 is a continuation of the discussion in Matthew 24 which leads to three examples in Matthew 25 about difference types of believers and different groups of persons being judged in different ways when the Messiah returns after the tribulation. If we isolate these verses and passages from their entire context then are we truly reading what is said or introducing a new range of ideas and concepts all of the examples in Matthew 25 are describing the events that happen at the end of the tribulation, similarly we are to consider why there are no verses or passages in the Scriptures which of themselves say (that is without added ideas or meanings) that 'believers will be raptured before the tribulation' if there were one verse that said these things of themselves we might say such things are spoken of in the Bible, but when there are none, is that strange in any way believers are present throughout the time of the tribulation, the gathering of believers is after the tribulation (Matthew 13:29 - 30, Matthew 24:40) the 'bride' is new Jerusalem city that comes from heaven to earth, where believers are, 1000 years after the time of the tribulation (Revelation 21:2, Revelation 21:9 - 10)

@@neiland5098 “Matthew 25 is a continuation of the discussion in Matthew 24 which leads to three examples in Matthew 25 about difference types of believers and different groups of persons being judged in different ways when the Messiah returns after the tribulation. If we isolate these verses and passages from their entire context then are we truly reading what is said or introducing a new range of ideas and concepts” Yes, these verses are being addressed to those who live during The Time of Jacobs Trouble, not the churches trouble. The church will never be judged again when it comes to salvation. That was settled 2000 years ago on a cross of wood and the moment I accepted Jesus blood that was shed for me, according to the scriptures, on my behalf I was declared righteous. Not my own righteousness but Jesus’s righteousness accounted to me. The only thing that is conditional for a born again eternally saved believer is crowns & rewards for the type of quality of faithfulness that we lived while surrounded by this fallen corruptible sin laden flesh, never for eternal salvation of the soul. You see we have two natures living within us at the same time. The flesh and the spirit and both are fighting for pole position. The flesh sins but our in dwelling Holy Spiritual side of our new birth never sins which is even now seated in the heavenly realm. (EPHESIANS 2:6 …and hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus,…) My eternally saved spiritual side of my new birth is in heaven and is untouchable and is incapable of sinning or having sin accounted against it ever again. Jesus promised to never leave us or forsake us. Not so during the days of King David. During the days of King David the indwelling of the Holy Spirit was conditional based upon faithfulness. This is why David prayed that God would not remove the Holy Spirit within him when he committed murder in order to cover up his affair with another mans wife. Not so during this age of grace. We can never lose our salvation of the soul even if we are found to be unfaithful after the salvation event has occurred. “all of the examples in Matthew 25 are describing the events that happen at the end of the tribulation,” I agree. “similarly we are to consider why there are no verses or passages in the Scriptures which of themselves say (that is without added ideas or meanings) that 'believers will be raptured before the tribulation’” Because these verses were never addressed to the church. These are all pre cross doctrines spoken to the jews. While Jesus is our lord and savior today, (from before during and after the cross,) his gospel in his day sure wasn't to the church. The church was still a mystery until after he rose from the dead. His gospel was only to the jews and his gospel was to believe that he was their messiah and the act of doing works by following Torah. During the tribulation or the time of Jacobs trouble, not the churches trouble, it will revert back to this same way for salvation for the jews and the tribulation saints. Here is Jesus himself speaking: "Matt 15:24 But he answered and said, I am (NOT SENT) but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." And also (Matt 10:5-6 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, (GO NOT) into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans (ENTER YE NOT): But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” You possibly fail to see that basically nothing Jesus said was to be applied doctrinally to the post cross church, (after the cross), consisting of both jew and gentiles, which was still a mystery and hidden from the world. Jesus only hinted at the future existence of the church three times and he only entertained the requests of a few pre cross gentiles in his day but they were not the focus of his ministry, only the jews were. Today, AFTER THE CROSS and before the pre-tribulational rapture, we get our doctrine from Paul who was given the ministry to the gentiles or the church by the resurrected Jesus himself on the road to Damascus after he rose from the dead and his teachings are to be doctrinally applied to the church. Paul clearly taught, because Jesus instructed him to do so, that every person who puts their faith in the eternally finished work of Jesus's finished work on the cross, according to the scriptures, to pay for all their sins, past present and future will be SAVED and made worthy of eternal salvation (and the blessed hope we call the pre tribulation rapture,) and without adding any of our own filthy rag works of self righteous obedience to the salvation equation. ZERO works or merit of any kind is added to what Jesus finished. We are now eternally worthy of our blessed hope (rapture) and guaranteed of salvation because of what Jesus did on our behalf. “if there were one verse that said these things of themselves we might say such things are spoken of in the Bible, but when there are none, is that strange in any way” The pre tribulation understanding is not some new concept. In recent years, many opponents of the pre-tribulation rapture view, such as your self, have made wild accusations that this view was never taught before 1820 AD. Attempts have been made to attribute the origin of, (what you and they say), this view to be new and revealed by John N. Darby. The knowledge of the pre tribulation rapture started being preached as recent as 50, 100, 200 and even 300 years after Jesus’s birth. The pre tribulation rapture was being taught by such men as Paul 50 years AD, Victoranius 240 AD, Ephraem of Nisibis (306-373), Codex Amiatinus (ca. 690-716), Brother Dolcino (d. 1307), Martin Luther, John Calvin, Joseph Mede (1586-1638), Increase Mather (1639-1723), Peter Jurieu (1637-1713), John Gill (1697-1771), Morgan Edwards (1722-1795) and many others and continuing on with Darby until today. From 500 to about 1500 were the dark ages where the catholic church ruled and anything they didn’t like they burned, so very little writings survived during that reign of terror. Before I go check out a Dispensationalism Before Darby and Ken Jonson’s book "The Rapture." Might help you get back to the truth of the Blessed Hope pre tribulation rapture promise given by Paul. “believers are present throughout the time of the tribulation, the gathering of believers is after the tribulation (Matthew 13:29 - 30, Matthew 24:40)” Yes, I agree believers will be present during The Time of Jacobs Trouble. but they are new believers that came to Christ after the rapture, not truly born again believers before the rapture. This is a good place to learn how to rightly divide the bible. The problem many christians have today is they don't know how to rightly divide the bible and take the whole of the bible or (The Word of Truth) in context; line upon line, precept upon precept, scripture with scripture. They cherry pick certain verses to push their false understanding of what their world view is. We do not apply pre cross or post rapture doctrines to that of the post cross church. Jesus sent Paul to the post cross church. Remember, all of the bible is for the church/bride but not all the bible is about the church/bride. Paul clearly taught of a blessed hope pre trib rapture. The time of Jacobs Trouble is a time period of unimaginable horrors. Is that your blessed hope. The opposite of the blessed hope would be that after the rapture all someone will have to do to earn their salvation during the trib period is to first and most importantly not deny Jesus and then continue to endure being tortured, starved, raped, beaten, eaten and then as a crowning touch, have their heads cut off. Blessed hope? I think NOT! But I guess some people want to do it the hard way. Is that really your blessed hope. To suffer and die for Jesus, shedding your own blood for him, when all along he wanted you to trust alone in his shed blood for you. During the time of Jacobs Trouble that's all that satan is doing for 7 years is prevailing. Of the only 3 times Jesus hinted at the future existence of the church one of those times was in regard to the fact that he would never allow satan to prevail upon the whole Earthy body of the church at the same time. Individually yes, but not as a whole body of believers. At the same time all of Gods wrath is also being poured out on an unbelieving and sinful world. The bible says that we the bride or the church will never be under God wrath because Jesus paid for all our sin and gave us his righteousness. We no longer have any sins to be judged for. “the 'bride' is new Jerusalem city that comes from heaven to earth, where believers are, 1000 years after the time of the tribulation (Revelation 21:2, Revelation 21:9 - 10)” In Revelation 21: 9-10 John saw the “CITY” of God descending out of heaven. Not the actual bride. Really easy to understand. Agar is an example of the law of bondage and compared to mount Sinai in Arabia where as Jerusalem is compared to the city of God above and the mother of the freedom of grace. If you think were going to literally be a brick and mortar city you have a few screws loose, Lol. Would you have Jesus as well being a literal corner stone: Ephesians 2:20 Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone.) In closing here we see (Revelation 21:2 - And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared (AS) a bride adorned for her husband. It says AS a bride, not thee actual bride. We’re not a brick and mortar building. You’re so silly, Lol. God bless and thanks for the comment.

They shall not be in the council of my people, nor be enrolled in the register of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the Lord God. Ezekiel 20:38 I will purge out the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against me. I will bring them out of the land where they sojourn, but they shall not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord. Psalm 69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living; let them not be enrolled among the righteous. Matthew 13:49 So it will be at the close of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous Matthew 13:41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, Matthew 24:31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Matthew 25:32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. Malachi 3:18 Then once more you shall see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him. 1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came near to all the people and said, How long will you go limping between two different opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him. And the people did not answer him a word. Joshua 24:15 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Psalm 100:3 Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

I think these types of subjects speak to the value of Bible study, trying to learn about themese, concepts, meaning & ideas, and how these are conveyed through language or languages and thus how various ideas or meaning or connotations might be interpreted in slightly or not so slightly different ways over time in different contexts and different languages etc this is why (I think) in part the Bible uses metaphor because metaphors tend to operate over and above variations and changes that may occur because of different readings or different understandings of verses and passages, but there are many complexities involved here

Josh McDowell and Paul Little both wrote good books on knowing that the Bible is trustworthy and that God is real. There's much more to say on this than can be written here, but here is Josh McDowell's logic for the divinity of Jesus. If a man makes a claim, it is true or false. If false, the man either knew it was false, or he didn't know. If he knew it was false, he is a liar. If he didn't know, he is mentally handicapped. So there were only three possibilities for Jesus' claims to Godhood and ability to save from sin; either He was telling the truth, He was lying, or He was mentally handicapped. He was obviously mentally capable so that only leaves us with two possibilities. Either He was lying or telling the truth. If He was lying, He was the worst person who ever lived because He gave the people the hope that their sins were forgiven and that they would be in heaven. So we cannot believe that He was just a good person and not God. He must have been telling the truth.

it is possible to examine and consider the veracity of many of these topics, however inasmuch as we are looking for spiritual understanding and meaning I would say trying to live more fully in the ways Jesus taught believers helps us to live more spiritually, that is, for our spiritual life to continue to develop to those ends I would suggest reflecting on ways we can be more kind, understanding, and good-willed with others (Micah 6:8)
