One of many things that I am grateful for is to have a teacher who is very patient and is willing to take extra time to work with any students who struggle with their assignments and need "extra" help. When I was in school I was in Special Education classes and some of my teachers had a difficult time trying to keep me focused on my school work but other teachers I had did have more patience and knew how to work with me. I did tend to lose focus on my work because I didn't understand how to do the assignment because I had and still have a short attention span so I needed extra help from my teacher with another explanation of how to do the work. After the 2nd time having it explained to me, I usually was able to understand it better.

I’m thankful for my students. For the ones who make it easy and for the ones who make it difficult. They push me every day to reevaluate my teaching. And honestly if you are not always reflecting on your teaching then you are not being effective.

I am grateful for my family. We have gone through a lot of heart ache over the last ten years, but we are still very close and strong. This past year has been an even harder year with almost losing a dad and sister, but we are blessed to still have them with us regaining their strength. As for school, I am grateful for my school, my team, the admin and staff, supporting staff, parent support and pride, and my amazing students. This has been a growing year. I have been challenged to up my game as a teacher and it is bringing me awake in different ways. I can’t say enough of how this change after 15 years at the same school has influenced and changed my point of view. I love it!

I am grateful for my friends, family and job. This year has been so rough for me and because of that I realized how blessed I am for what I have in my life. I’ve realized that god has given me all I have at the moment I need it. He has allowed to have wonderful friends to lean on, family to hold me and a job with the benefits I need to keep myself healthy. What am I grateful for? Last week we ran a school wide elephant ball (dodgeball) tournament and it went super well, no injuries, kids all had fun, teachers participated in a teacher vs. student game. So I am grateful for an awesome school community!

It’s my first year in teaching and it has been tough so far but they have taught me so much in such a short time and they have completely changed my outlook on life. I am so grateful for friends! I am a stay at home, homeschool mom. We moved to a new location about a year ago. It's a pretty rural place and I was quite lonely. A prayed and prayed for a local friend and a year later, I got 5!

I am grateful for my hubby. I am also a teacher and he was my biggest cheerleader while pursuing the path to become a teacher. He encourages me everyday and tells me how great I am (which depending on the day, I may or may not share the same opinion). Thank you for your videos. I don't teach using the same curriculum, but I have been able to take away many useful tips on how to make my classroom better. Thanks again!

grateful for every blessing in my life! being able to go to a school to get an education for teaching kiddos (student teaching starting in january!), friends that help me through rough times, family that is always there as a shoulder to lean on (specifically my mom that makes real good food), and technology that gives me a chance to communicate with and learn from others like you!

I am grateful for my kids at home and at school. I teach 1st grade, this is my 3rd year teaching, and I finally and feeling the connections with students and enjoying the students growth more than ever.
