If your monstera’s leaves are curling inwards it is a sign that there is something wrong with the hydration of your plant. When your plant is not receiving enough water the cells in the leaf begin to dry out and lose their structure and it will begin to curl in on itself to try and retain moisture. Monstera leaves curl downwards when the plant is stressed from too much heat or suffering from lack of nutrients. This happens because the cells of the monstera plant leaves losing the pressure to hold firm it's shape. When this happens, it gets hard for the leaves to support their structure and begin to curl inwards and we you will notice drooping too.
