I enjoy watching your guys videos on car audio installments, very nice clean professional work that looks like factory.

It's nice to know a product like this exist to resolve that issue I did it using a relay and a decent size capacitor from an old amp I parted out but that may not be something for everyone so it's nice to see something that is kind of plug and play thanks for posting.

Nice video regarding amp pop and why it happens plus the ussage of that TR-12 by PAC.

You can use that little module and some relays to make a super nice and compact switch panel for lets say a race car. Cause you could mount that thing we’re ever and just have a small little harness run wherever needed. Would be super clean

Thank you for the info. This device work for a pop when it turns on and pops when it turns off, correct? I have a after market head unit, a Rockford signal processor and a 5 channel amp going to 4 components sets and one 12" sub. Honestly I haven't been able to just enjoy it since adding the processor. I feel the processor and amp are turning on and of at different times. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello from Australia. Have wired in a Pioneer TS-WX130da underseat subwoofer in a 2022 Hyundai Tucson (non amplified) using speaker wire inputs (remote wire not used as per manual). Currently have slight ignition pop on start up only, accessories position is fine. Would the voltages of speaker signal possibly too high? The earth is to bare metal. Next I'm using a Stinger t-harness (CPTHY01) to intergrate a Pioneer GM-D0004 brick amp to power some new upgraded Infinity speakers. All these products seem to be based around delayed remote turn on signals...

Question What if the pop sound only happens when turning off the stereo ?

I need some help!I own a tarams ds 160x2 that, I connected to my radio(Pioneer dmh g220bt),but when I tried to connect the Bluetooth the radio couldn't function and the speakers started making wierd noises like popping.

I just installed a Maestro RR2 with a Pioneer DEH4660. Kept the stock amp... are there any settings on the RR2 that would prevent turn on pop? If not, could I still use the TR12 in line with the RR2?

One can also get a timed relay board from amazon or ebay for a all of 5 to 10 bucks

I have a pop/boom when I start the car when the system is already powered up. If I am quick enough at starting the car it won't do it but if I hesitate at all and give the stereo time to come on before I actually crank the car it's a very loud pop. What can eliminate this?

If just using this to get rid of a turn on pop you could also just use the TR4, is that correct? At least that's how i understood your video where you showed the TR4. Say in my Mustang, the audio enable is a 6V output which is not enough to turn on my Mosconi D2 100.4 DSP amplifier, then i could just get a TR4, attach it to 12V/Ground and the 6V audio enable and my aftermarket amps would behave just like the stock amp, is that correct?

I am looking to see if you have done an install on my car, a 2013 Toyota Camry with LCD screen but no premium radio. Ever thought about either doing a database on your show content OR having a hardcore fan build a website for such a database. Your usual show titles does not give enough detail for a search to work with rare exceptions. BTW, love the show. Rabbits everywhere I look. Did this back in the 80's - wouldn't dream of trying it today- or hell even DIYing my own car.

I installed a powered sub in my ford fiesta, im using the factory head unit that dont have RCAs, my powered sub only has high level inputs, its a cheap Dual brand, it sounds good even when I start the engine, but as soon as I take off the auto door locks lock and the sub has a real loud hum, like feedback, its not engine whine at all its just a low loud hum, so when I open the door it stops, when I push the door lock button it goes back to loud hum, push again hum goes away, I am stumped on this one. anyone heard of this?

I get a pop when I have the stereo on for about 15 seconds then I go to start the vehicle then it pops but with everything off then I start the vehicle right away no pop sound happens is this something I just have to live with

i have diesel car and use a 555 Timer Switch 12V Relay to delay the stereo from turning on for 10 sec, as i start the car, stops the stereo getting a power surge

A toggle switch from eBay does the same thing and it costs much less. It's manual....turn on the deck then the amp with the toggle switch.

We could also start teaching people electronics again. A simple RC network would do the same job for under a dollar.

TR7 does the same thing but it's far more complicated. I wish I had gone with a TR12 before I bought a TR7 just for that reason alone. But you can get a TR7 for under $10.

If you use that on a tube guitar amplifier you will blow your Output transformer! ... I guess this works only with integrated circuit amplifiers

U dont need that the reason why u have a turn on pop is because of the remote wire going to the amp being 12volt need to reduce the voltage to 5-6 volt by using a resistor that solves the popping sound on turn on the fix only cost $5
