Just dragging the poker, eh? Here I was experimenting with putty knives, meat choppers, and engineering rulers trying to get weird shaped cells and all I needed to do was drag a simple poker, heh.

Hi Rob. I love your tutorials and was hoping you might be able to help me. Some of my dye mixtures keep sinking in the floetrol bed. I'm using pro chemicals neon colours and the royal purple sinks, I also have problems with other pro chemical colours sinking. I tried adding more floetrol to my mixture but it still sinks.

Yup some colors sink. You can try warming them up first to help with that. Generally I just avoid using those colors though.

Great content! You channel got me going. Do you nust keep it under the lamp for a period of time, then remove it and clean, or just jeep it under lamp for time, then turn off lamp and let it sit for a few hours more?

Either one works, of I want more saturation I'll let it sit longer

@@LilbotDiscGolf awesome. I used an MVP plasma wave, let it sit for an hour and a half. Took it it out now. Wild! Looks like it's chromatic. Thanks man

do you think a metal pin vs a wooden toothpick for 3 in 1 oil would make a difference? With wood it soaks in a bit but with metal it's just on the surface? Seems more oil would transfer with metal than wood (sorry .. random thought generates a random question)

Based on my experience you are correct, have had much more luck with a metal pin

I can tell you from experience that the metal will give you the best results. I bought an afro pick from a beauty supply store and you can pull the pins off it.

Hi rob, I just started last night and my disc are coming out great in the eye bed but really faded after washing. I’ve tried 1 1/2, 4 hrs, 8+ and still the same result. Anyway I can contact you?

I have the same question: it seems you are keeping the poker shallow in the bed for drag cells? Do you attempt to poke to a different depth than chameleon cells?

Depth doesnt really matter in my experience
