Okay I really wanted to tell this one thing : Both of you guys are really good friends and have great chemistry, but sometimes I feel like the podcast still has room for improvement. I have a few suggestions for Madox : 1. After asking a question, let Bart answer the question first. (This allows him to open up more and give you chances to add on to his comments instead of him just agreeing or disagreeing with your thoughts) 2. Madox, try to give ample pauses when you are answering so that B-art can give his opinion at the right moment. (This will allow for a more in-depth talk and better clarity, oterwise, he might forget what he has in mind) 3. Okay this is just me speaking my heart out, but my man Madox sometimes just forgets how good of a beatboxer B-art is and forgets to ask his opinions on technical topics 😆 Anyways, I absolutely love this concept, this podcast and of course these two guys right here. Thank you for this present :)

Fantastic episode. I just feel this is what i needed more in the beatbox community, more in depth and genuine talk about beatboxing without memes and ego. This really reminds me of the videos B-Art did with Voxel in a really cool and cozy way. Loved the Markooz mention by B-Art in the rapid fire questions (he's a G.O.A.T tbh, his 2015's World Champs elimination and battles in LA Cup 2013 is beyond me), and i would love to hear more from B-Art's older times in the community (circa 2013 to 2015, specially the period of LA Cup), because there are so many amazing beatboxers and competitions that happened at the time, that should be more known by the big scene. From Madox, i'd be interesting to see an in depth view on the german level, as it went from a period of peak around 2011, with Babeli (that was on his most consistent period, despite feeling 2015, specially against BMG in the World Champs, is his peak), Robeat, Mando, B-Caja (going really in depth with this one), and others, to this new generation that's coming now. In a way, how is the adaptation of the new beatboxers maintaining a level of quality, and how would this reflect in comparison to others eras of the German Champs. And it's actually a really nice topic to be discussed tbh, beatboxers that suddenly disappeared from the scene (or just the big scene), and are pretty underrated, there's quite a few. I think the only thing missing for Taras to appear on the podcast, as a last call, is reacting to his GBB Wildcard tbh lol, and it's quite a ride (the 2020 one is insane as well). As for the Vahtang wildcard, not only the wildcard, but his whole style aged as fine wine to me, and, for me, should have passed, and he sure has the level to get into the battle stage (specially with attributes that matter the most on the actual stage, not just on video). When you think about the classic Vahtang circa 2009, you think about some crazy techniques and energy, and he was quite a peculiar character at the time, but now, in the big scene again, he brings such a great arrangement, and brings a feeling like one of his classics: "i can fell the break of a sound", something like that. There's something about his presence and passion that conveys through the composition and overall authenticity in all of the sounds (from the deep bass, to the f-t-f-t technique, the obvious fantastic singing, powerful basics and all that), that feels special. About Wing, i think he has lots of potential of winning, as he sound really well rounded and refreshing. His arrangements are great as ever, and, he's a fantastic battler tbh, not one with an "in your face" attitude, but one that sure has a presence battling and stuff, his confidence is really high on stage. His battle against Footboxg in the Vokal Total 2018 shows a little bit of his weakness when perhaps taking stuff easily, at the time, in battle spirit, but when you take his flawless participation in the Asian Champs in 2018, he handles battles like it's nothing. Can't wait to see more from you guys :)

This thing is getting better and better! Again covering good topics, in general. Like both of you said take a deep breath and think before making a negative comment or make a constructive feedback out of it. I would suggest just put a filter on yourself before making any comment and the filter is - step into the shoes of the person about whom you are going to comment. The example you took of the beatboxer just uploading the wild card and having no control over judges is perfect. One must think 'what I should have done if I was in his/her position' and you find the answer - 'nothing' then just stop yourself from making any comment. As for the criticism of judges, ask yourself - 'can I be a judge?' and then think about your comment. There might be circumstances where the situation turns toxic but I don't feel that the people at the core of community are toxic at all. Another Great Podcast! Loved it ❤️

Hands down the best wildcard I have ever heard is River's GBB21 wildcard. I don't think anyone will reach that level anytime soon apart from River himself. Of course, I know there might be some better out there skill-wise, but his journey winning the 1st wildcard to the finals is just a cherry on top. Finest musicality imo, but also will kill on stage. Definitely the no.1 for me.

I definitely think that beatboxers with solid, structured routines are starting to close the gap on beatboxers that are good at countering. The skill level of the average beatboxer is so high, and there is lots of creativity happening structure-wise. Not to mention the ability to stay in pitch, which gives the average listener the feel of an actual song. Napom and Alexinho, both masters of counters and known for freestyling battle rounds, were both beaten in GBB21 by beatboxers with incredibly well-structured routines. I think we’ll see much more of that as the years go on. Sorry for the rant lol. Love these videos!!

Part of why I don’t like the system of removing the top and bottom scores for judges is that it kinda removes the valid opinion of one judge. SBX picks credible and established beatboxers to judge so we can usually trust their opinion. And here’s why I think you’ll agree with me… you guys clearly liked a Ah tang and thought he should’ve been in: you know who else did? D-Low. He had Vahtang in his top 3 I think? Vahtang was so close to making it but if you remove D-Low’s opinion because he had him higher than any other judge, Vahtang wouldn’t be anywhere close to top 25 most likely. But D-Low is valid for ranking Vahtang so high and he has a unique perspective that should count. Also, so should the judge who ranked Vahtang lowest, even if we probably don’t like his opinion as much, it’s still valid after all the thought these judges gave into putting out these scores.

Imagine how they'll calculate the sound things if adding 5 digits was a challenge. =]
