How a server works? Easy! It stands around, looking for "clients" or customers to get orders from. The server will take the order and bring it back to the backend ^^ or kitchen and they will prepare the response or "food", once the food is done, the server takes it and delivers it to the customer. Now it goes back to its idle state and waits for new requests. Oh, we are not talking about restaurants?

I mean. It's pretty analogous. That is pretty much exactly how a server works in a nutshell.

I just checked and you only need 8G for 20 players in MC with no mods. With 128G, you must be running 600 mods

You can press space on the keyboard to skip the memory check.... or you can change the setting to do a quick memory check instead... It's in the BIOS. I have a couple of Poweredge R815's with 512Gb and Quad CPU's running Minecraft servers. Can you imagine the memory check time? Was soooooo long.

One addition, the Identify button on the front can also be held for about 6 seconds and it will show you a POST code! So if you have a server now powering on, you hold that down and it will tell you the last stage of POST it was on. If I have other additional info i'll let you know. ❤❤❤

Not really sure what you mean by saying that Debian and its patches are "meant" to be distributed on DVDs, I mean you can, but the ISO can be literally put on basically any other storage medium and the updates can be downloaded directly with Apt. You kinda make it sound like it's stuck in the past when it's not 🙂
@Bandwidth_ytb
@Bandwidth_ytb Жыл бұрын
It's that they still divide them into CD and DVD isos and the whole thing just presumes the medium to be a disc even though it doesn't care what it is.
@Rudunnx
@Rudunnx Жыл бұрын
@@Bandwidth_ytb Oh right, this thing. They only divide them into CD and DVD isos because of the sizes (so that one can comfortably fit the ISOs on those discs) but that's just a convenience thing. Netinst ISOs rule anyway (I hope)
