Depends on items, tobbaco, can be a few days sorting out tax, ik that as I import snus in Australia, anything valued over $1000 can be also a few days, knifes, weapons, can be a week to figure out import permits, drugs forever and a knock at your door

There are so many variables loaded into this question that it is impossible to answer without more information on how the goods were shipped etc.
