Yeah, my doc put me on metformin at first diagnosis. Got my A1C from 12.6 to 4.9 in 3 months because I don't play with diabetes. I got off of metformin. I also had fatty liver which tends to go hand in hand with a type 2 diabetic. Thankfully fatty liver is easy and fast to fix. I enjoy your channel even though you and I are on opposite spectrums of the same disease.

Good for it! Opposite spectrums of the same disease? I have lived with type 1 diabetes for 25 years, there is no diet that's gonna eliminate my need for insulin. ;) Type 1 and type 2 are very different diseases with similar symptoms and some overlapping treatments.

First, I want to say I did not mean any offense. I will never mean any offense with anything I say so please know that. The same disease is diabetes. The cause of the diabetes is very different and the treatment for it is very different. Type 1 is a whole different beast from type 2 in that regard of course. I am sure you do come across people who think type 1 and type 2 are the same in terms of treatment and the cause and I am sure it is frustrating. Again, I did not mean to cause offense. @ketogenicSusan that's incredible! My husband was just diagnosed with T2 diabetes and is on metformin he had an A1C of 7.0. I'm curious to know how you were able to get your A1C to 4.9. Thanks!

@@cindypersaud8805 Hey Cindy :) My channel is focused toward type 2's, my health journey, the proper human diet and how type 2 is 100% reversable when we remove the poison from our diet. If a disease is caused by a dietary issue (Type 2) then a dietary change is the cure. While I am not a doctor I am confident your husband can get the same results as I did and so many others!
