I WAS WRONG ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE POINTS SYSTEM: You never go into the negative for pp and won't lose a Class Point for that. You lose 60-100, depending on rank, for Loss Prevention to keep you from demoting. Otherwise you gain pp from Sportsmanship, Scoring and Win Streaks. Sir what is the system of reset of rank class at the end of season and at the beginning of the season of season for example in end of season 2 I was in the veteran class 1 ♦️♦️♦️and in beginning of the season 3 I was in the expert no diamond and now I am in ultra class 1 ♦️♦️♦️ so what will happen in next season

I'm stuck at Veteran Rank, thanks to the incompetent teams I had. I've loss my Veteran Rank and went back to Elite, however now I'm back at Veteran. I'm stuck here, till I have better randomized teams or fully upgrade my items. I'm a f2p and my good items are Level 15 best, so it'll take a while to fully upgrade it to max.

Well you can't control teammates, just yourself. But I agree teammates even at Veteran are half of the time bad. I don't believe the item's stats are relevant at all, at least not up to Veteran, so I wouldn't out any stock in items helping you climb. @@GymLeaderJustin I just had a match where my teammate took most of my exp which I needed since I was Ralts and I needed to evolve fast so I may actual help out. I know what I need to do, it's just the teams I had don't know when to attack or retreat when needed.

@@TheFallenStarlight Yeah in Veteran Rank the Defender/Support really should know about last hitting to the carry and when press or play safe. But Veteran they still don't know those fundamentals. I hear ya!

Good luck man! Took me 3 weeks of grinding to get into Master Rank. Try playing with your friends so you can coordinate better

@@g.i.441 I really wish they separated total games into Ranked, Standard and Quick. I only play 1-3 games a day so its taking me a bit of time. But it would be cool to see how long its taking me compared to others game wise, but we just don't have that data (and for me I play a lot of Quick with friends so that throws off my 100+ games played so far).

They should've add ace and legendary in the rank tier list because I remember seeing "ace trainer" in Pokemon games on GBA so I think they should add it

I am sure they will add more Tiers for next season and make changes to the ranked system, especially with the overflow of Master ranked tier players.

You can play with people spanning two ranks. So he will need to become Great tier to play with you at Veteran.

So i need to know. At the end of the season. If i reached ultra bit im veteran at the end of the season. which one do i get rewards for? the current veteran rank or the ultra that was recorded ?

You will receive rewards for the HIGHEST ranked achieved, even if you had a bad streak towards the end and were demoted :)

The only reason that should be happening is if you are trying to play a Quick match but are not high enough level yet (level 6 I think). I don't know any other reason you cannot play with your friends. Someone creates a lobby and you can manually invite them or have them plug in the lobby code.

Nope! You just lose points, but cannot be demoted. I think this is an issue but it is the way it is for right now!

Say you are vet class 1 and you loss a match with no P-Points, would you drop back down to elite class 5 or would you stay vet rank but with no pips and no P-points? any info on losing ranks and dropping class would be a big help here as climbing is explained well but falling is not explained anywhere

Great Question Paw Jones! Online articles haven't been very helpful and other youtubers don't have much out yet on the topic. All of my research was from playing and personal experience, and I have not experienced demotion (yet). But I believe how it should work is if you lose a match you lose a pip (class point I call them, again nothing had an official name for them) and then if you drop below zero performance points, you should lose another pip. So you should drop from Vet class 1 Pip 1 to Elite Class 5 with 1 pip remaining (because you lost 2 total pips). I am still unsure if you can go to 0 pips, because when you rank you get the 1 pip automatically. I did have one losing game where I lost 0 pips, but I think that is because I did really well despite losing. Again, there isn't anything helpful online, which is why I made this video the best I could, but I'll let you know when I start inting and get demoted! Thanks for your question!

@@GymLeaderJustin Thanks for getting back to me, I'm a vet player myself, but I'm also a solo player so a string of bad teams could undo all the hard work i did to get vet in the first place, just wanted a better idea on how losing rank works as it might not be worth grinding to ultra solo, If i get unlucky lose the next couple of games and end up back in elite. Shame there's not much explaining how losing rank works, But yes any help would be great if u r unlucky enough to drop (im not jinxing it i hope XD)

@@92eevee92 The saving grace in my opinion is the elo problem League of Legends and other MOBAs have where you win only a little LP and lose a lot. Having it be, more or less, lose a game lose a pip, win a game win a pip (with the added complexity of performance points) makes it a lot more stable and rewards overall win rate. Let me know if in your adventures you find out more details! I am still not 100% on going below 0 performance points losing you a pip (it was just mirroring what happens when you gain a pip via P-points). Good luck in solo queue!

@@proffit4706 If you lose enough in a row I assume you demote rank just like all other MOBAs. From some reading online it sounds like the do handicap it when you are at Rank X Class 1 so as to help you to win so as not demote. I found out they add AI bots into Ranked games to handicap like that. I'll be making a video hopefully coming out in a couple days covering more about that and how hard / buffer is there for demoting rank. Good luck in solo queue!

Bro I am at great class 2 rank nd my level is 12 and fair points 82. But I am unable to play with my friend who is in master class. It shows "one of player does not reached required rank"... What does this mean .??? When I will be able to play with my friend please...answer

In order to play with a friend you must be within 2 ranks of each other. That means if your friend is in Master rank, you will be able to play with him when you reach Veteran rank. It goes Beginner, Great, Expert, Veteran, Ultra, Master.

BTW, I wasn't playing pokemon unite since 1 week and I dropped from veteran class 1 to expert class 4. Do you have any idea how it happened?

Every 80ish days they come out with a new "season" so we are now on Season 4 so your rank gets a sort of reset. That is why.

You can derank Class. But you go to 0 pips first and have a performance points hit called "loss prevented." If you lose again with 0 pips you will get demoted to the lower class.

What do you feel your realistic potential rank is? Currently I am sitting at Expert Class 2, but I feel like I can get Veteran Class 1, but realistically probably nothing better than that.

@@DayNiteWEEB surf and telekinesis, surf to push away pokemon from your heavy hitters and telekinesis to stop the enemy’s heavy hitters to allow your lane partner to kill it easier, also when in your lane leave your partner to get the final kills so they get the bulk of the xp

So if it's not based on skill, doesn't that mean if everyone plays long enough they will get to Master rank. It isn't based on damage performance at all. I have played 50 ranked games and I have topped the damage with around 70,000-90,000 in every game. Yet the people who literally do 5,000 damage are getting promoted with me. I feel like the games needs to be more heavily weighted on performance. I think even if you lose all you games it should be possible to be Master because you were literally a God, but you teamates threw. Yet people get carried get into Master even though they have no skill. What do you think? That's just my personal opinion. Sort of like a rocket league system where if you do placements with all you friends and you are in the exact same games some of you might get Grand Champ and others might get diamond. It didn't matter they were in the same game it was based on performance. I think it should be a mixture, but more weighted towards skill. Opinions anyone?

I agree with you! I do find the current Performance Points system to be good and bad. The cool thing is that it appeals to our emotions with its rank down prevention and gaining extra pips when doing well. However, the current system is broken and you can theoretically reach masters while never going over a 50% win rate, because you still get rewarded in games you lose. I'm currently working on another video going in-depth into Performance Points and how they affect climbing the rank ladder and how I think it could be better.

@@GymLeaderJustin I'm fine with being Master with a less than 50% win rate as long as you are a good player. Say you lose you games, but you played out of this world and got 200,000 damage you deserve Master. It was just because of your teamates. I just feel like people can get carried to Master because they win every game even though they literally have 1,000 damage. It should be more based skill than wins. Like yes wins should give you some points, but most of the points should come from performance. Than the rank system would have the best players getting promoted beacuse they are playing better.

In any rank you can invite and play with people who are plus/minus 2 of your rank. So Masters can play with Ultra and Veteran.

Yeah so I have been thinking about that. I come from LoL and I have wondered how the elo's compare. I reached high Platinum almost Diamond in LoL when I played it a lot. So I would say that based on that Master would be equivalent to Platinum-Challenger. If that is true then Beginner = Promos, Great = iron, Expert = bronze, and Veteran = silver and Ultra = gold. From my time playing league this seems like a fair equivalent to me.

@@Blackwings....338 There is a soft reset in the new Season. I went from Master down to Veteran 3. That is normal for these sorts of games.

The rank is shit. I am used to playing MMORPG. this the worst ever i faced. i am at ultra. After every win next match definitely is huge struggle. if you win 2 in a row your 3rd match your team is like easy bots in ultra rank. Joke.
