Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps has been around since 1948, when it was founded by Emanuel Bronner, a third-generation soap maker who immigrated from Germany in 1929. Dr. Bronner’s soaps are all organic and sustainably sourced from fair trade facilities around the world before arriving to its factory in Vista, California. Bronner’s life mission was to promote his philosophy called the Moral ABC, which called for peace and unity over religious and ethnic differences. Bronner's philosophy is written in tiny text on all of his soap labels. The company says there are 18 ways you can use its liquid castile soap, including washing your face, body, hair, home, and even your teeth. Celebrities such as Zoë Kravitz, Lady Gaga, and Meghan Markle are rumored to be fans of Dr. Bronner’s soaps. Their most famous soap is the Peppermint Liquid Castile soap, which can cool the skin and clear sinuses.

Yeah, I just wish they were cheaper. I understand the price point, but like take Black African Soap for instance..that stuff is so good for every skin ailment and you can get it for so cheap! But I do love me some Dr.Bronner’s. I love every kind they make too! I think the lavender might be my favorite, but I love all of them. They make really great bath salts too. They should get into making Himalayan salt flakes! If you haven’t tried the flakes, they are even better than the salt! I forget why, but I do know my favorite bathes EVER we’re with the Himalayan flakes.

"Triple-milled" does not mean that it's ground three times. It means (or is supposed to mean) that it passes through three sets of rollers that bear down on the bar and get as much air out of it as possible. That is why triple-milled soap lasts much longer than ordinary soap: it doesn't have as much air in it. Compare that with Ivory Soap: "It Floats." Well, it floats because it's got air in it, and because of that it doesn't last very long.
@buckeyedav1

It has to be milled like that to completely get the added scent and benefit oils in. Air isn't a part of any real soap, unless a bubble or two got trapped. Milling can actually introduce more air when a bar is formed if it's not done right.
@nomore1980
@nomore1980 2 жыл бұрын
@@buckeyedav1 The base soap they make doesn't harden up immediately. They have the time to break it up, mix it up with the added oils, and then form it into bars. The final hardening is helped by the pressure (and heat?) of forming the bars, and once it's packaged it will eventually reach it's full hardness. Nothing is melted. Milling soap should not be about melting soap.

Why is everytime somebody says something smart they get thrown into jail or mental institution?
@danbo967
@danbo967 4 жыл бұрын
Its worth reading the history to know why. After his wife died he started to give speeches about "uniting spaceship earth" and even send his 3 children to an orphanage to do this full time. Later he got arrested after one of his speeches and his sister advised him to go to a mental institution to get help because his behavior wasn't normal.... the rest you already know. It's also worth noting that he ran his company as a religious organization to avoid paying taxes but he was busted by the government and had to pay 1.3 million back in taxes.

Went to church for years with Trudy Bronner, Dr Bronner's late wife. Dr. Bronner died when i was 7, i met him when i was like 5 but vaguely remember him. His son would also always come to the same church. So we had our weekly "hellos" and "how you doings'. They are a very nice family and a joy to talk too. Trudy still speaks with my grandmother from time to time and they see each other at the same church when they can( covid has changed this). Its really cool how big they got, when i was a kid it was a kind of of hidden gem...so when more and more people started using it it was like "hey thats Trudy's soap" lol
