One of the best videos that shows the simplest of interaction….a constitutionally protected interaction at that and police fail miserably and reveal their duplicitous nature at covering up their wrong doings. Watching this video with multiple officers, department’s, and municipalities acting with the same behaviors should make everyone understand that these behaviors are rampant in law enforcement and extend to all types of interactions.

I told my officers to leave their egos at the house before coming to work and if they couldn't they could leave it at the department. If they couldn't do that, leave it in the car before interacting with the public. I'm sure there are good officers out there but I'm disgusted seeing what the bad ones have done to the profession that I loved. The good ones are scared to speak up because of retaliation.

@@606accountability "5 things that would stop police misconduct overnight ..." You missed the most import thing that would stop police misconduct right away, and it is something we already have in play. All that would need to happen is for DAs to press charges against LEOs that break the law. Qualified immunity ONLY works in civil court, not criminal court. NOTHING prevents DA's from filling criminal charges against LEOs, well nothing other than professional courtesy. Somehow current DA's feel that if you have a video showing an LEO pushing out of the way a journalist/auditor that is not arrested or detained legally standing in a public place is an internal affair issue, and not enough to press criminal charges, yet they have no problem filing charges against a citizen who was arrested because the LEO felt "intimidated" because it seemed the suspect made a fist with his right arm as it was hanging on its side.

I went to file a complaint with Radford city PD here in Virginia. The distain those cops had was unbelievable. A detective help cps ILLEGALLY KIDNAP my granddaughter. He lied on police reports lied in court also stating THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE that kid was abused.even to this day social services hasn't produced any proof ,they got caught lieung . The cop who took the complaint said oh ok ,i wven had video i showed him violate our rights . They didn't care. The detective is now the CHEIF. I don't think there was ever a investigation either Also look up your states SURETY BONDS. Cops here in Virginia must have $75,000 . The more you go after that the insurance companies won't cover, then they can't be cops.

Great Video.... Isn't it obvious that the 800 hours of training to become a cop is grossly insufficient. In NJ it takes 1200 hours to become a cosmetologist and hairstylist and in PA it takes 3000 hours of training to become a social worker. No wonder we're getting such a poor quality of officers. And they let them carry guns.
