Boycott Consultancies. If you think you can work, live and study abroad, then why can't you do all the processing by yourself? Why do you need a third party to do all the work for you. This is where all these scams comes into picture. Be independent and confident enough to do everything by yourself. The moment you take a step in foreign land, there won't be anyone to help you. so why do you need help now??

Most of the consultancies are dodgy, but we have to blame ourselves and society too & money is never enough, the whole economy in the world is too expensive . I am in sydny right now as student doing masters and that fund u show, really has a meaning to survive here. South Asian countries are suffering the most as the financial documents are fake. Australians wants super rich students, no financially poor students !! That's what Australian government wants.Bitter Truth Guys

This exposes the biggest cancer in Nepali society. Lack of critical thinking. Students who have had decent education till plus 2 still fall for this. Finding out about universities or even job opportunities in some country has literally never been easier. But very few think independently. They just follow what other people are doing. As long as people are willing to follow other people blindly, these kind of scams will exist - not just in education, in employment, religion etc. These kind of scams would never work in a country like US or Australia. And that’s the real difference in education between Nepal and developed countries. People here don’t question anything.

So, students should choose those consultancies. Do your research before taking any decision.

I had a same experience last year After I completed my plus 2 I immediately tried for australia through ved international education consultancy here in ktm. They applied me to a university claiming it was one of the best with higher success rate but after applying I got to know that the university was in blacklist ko Australia high commision. Along with this they carelessly did my documentation and processing and also made me complete my documentation very rapidly without proper time frame with so many errors which ultimately led to a rejection and a lot of money waste .

I FIND IT THE FUNNIEST PART OF THIS CONSULTANCY SCAMS IS, These Students who are scholar and have learnt till High School, (or as so i believe looking at the really poor education system), can really research themselves and apply themselves. Having a really English-Literate Country, it really saddens how Nepali Young Youths leave the country drained and really stupid. (*doesn't necessarily mean to not go, going outside is also really good option to learn and explore more.) Wake up all of you, either Apply well researched yourselves/ try making a difference in Nepal. Please, dont please fall through a Consultancy Scam. Be Smarter, Educate Yourself more. -a perspective of a young nepali living in Kathmandu who thought the same till he finished his High School, but am still here, and find more opportunity and success rate here.

Don't apply via consultancies. Most of them are there for money grab employed by the institutes or unis on their list. Research yourself and do self apply. Send inquiry emails to admission office. You will surely get a reply back. Then check requirements and deadlines for college application. And proceed.
