This is How Ending C was supposed to be in the beta version of GTA 5 before they have to cancel the idea of franklin's dying and make Ending C a happy ending instead where no one of the 3 protagonists die
How Ending C was Originally supposed to end in GTA V
so in ending C franklin was originally supposed to die protecting his homies from the enemies aka the ballas, the triads, devin weston, The FIB, etc.
franklin sacrifices himself to save michael and his homies from devin weston and all of their enemies in GTA 5

I feel like Franklins death was supposed to make Michael, Trevor, and Lamar stop living a life of crime. Because they saw how boy came from an Amateur to a Professional criminal and he dies at a young age. This would impact Michael to live for his family and Lamar to live the dream. Idk how it would impact Trevor though

@@e_man_nyc0158 well, I’m guessing you mean that if Rockstar hadn’t changed Ending C to Deathwish then The Contract DLC wouldn’t have happened. At first I thought you meant if someone played Online Mode after playing Story Mode on the same Online Console Account, then the Contract DLC wouldn’t have happened for just that particular person but now I see that you mean if Ending C was like this then the Contract DLC wouldn’t have happened because this would’ve been the Cannon Ending instead of the Final Ending C. Personally, I think it would’ve been more Realistic if either Michael or Trevor died. I always thought Trevor dying would make more sense personally.

If this was the ending, had Lamar Davis's actor, Slink Johnson didn't get in legal trouble, this ending would hit harder on everyone, and might tie with GTA IV since this ending involves the death of a protagonist, someone whom everyone hold dear to, and give the idea GTA V doesn't seem rosy as it is now

There’s an interview with the voice actor for Lamar and he said you were supposed to have an option to play as him after the main story. The reason why it was scrapped is that Slink went to jail for a while and the entire story for the most part had to be rewritten.
