Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is a 2004 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It is the seventh game in the Grand Theft Auto series, following Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002). It was released in October 2004 for PlayStation 2, and in June 2005 for Microsoft Windows and Xbox. The game is set within an open world environment that players can explore and interact with at their leisure. The story follows former gangster Carl "CJ" Johnson, who returns home after the death of his mother and is drawn back into his former gang and a life of crime while clashing with corrupt authorities, rival criminal syndicates, and other enemies. Carl's journey takes him across the fictional U.S. state of San Andreas, which is heavily based on California and Nevada.

well that's basically it. tenpenny and polaski are dead. cj isn't their dog. smoke is dead and ryder is redeemed. sweet doesn't get locked up as a bargaining chip. cj doesn't get kicked out into the wilderness or get into contact with crazy people about other ways to get his brother out, so the whole part about leaving ls in the beginning is removed and they focus purely on making the gang strong again like capturing territories as their main quest instead of a side one. cj may have still stole madd dogg's rhyme book, but that's about it where the official story ends. he doesn't own a mechanic shop, car dealer, record studio, become a manager, do mafia work, do black book government work, etc. he just stays in ls and gangs it up homie. the end.

Errors: Brian died because CJ was stoned and let him play with his gun while their mom wasn't looking and Brian accidentally shot himself cause he was just a kid. That's implied when CJ enters his house at the beginning and we hear voices in his head as he remembers Brian's death. So Brian wasn't killed by the Ballas, nothing in the game suggests that. Also Ryder betrayed the Groves long before GTA SA startd as we see in "GTA SA: The introduction" Smoke goes seeing him at his house and Ryder agrees to join him in his crack business.

@@blackpaisley5156Tbf though. In contrast to the common “Brian was gunned down by an enemy”, he did acknowledge the thing in the cutscene at the house. Brian and Carl were doing something wild that Kendl thought was suspicious and were up to something. Carl wanted to cut it out when their mom came home. So I think the whole playing with gun thing while it may not be it is getting somewhere

Why do you think in the HD universe, in GTA 5, on Grove Street there is not a gang, not the Grove Street families, but the Ballas? what if the CJ either didn’t come, or became rich and left the left Los Santos with everyone. or over time the family fell apart anyway. After all, the green gang from GTA 5 are Kents, in theory a different family, but part of Grove Street.

? Didn't CJ go home to Los Santos and didn't know Cesar, Truth, Maddog or Woozie, and didn't know anyone? Carl only knows his close friends, Ryder, Big Smoke and the backbone of the family, Sweet, including the Grove Street gang. Let me explain again, why does CJ know Tennpenny? Previously they knew each other during Brian Johnson's time before he died, and tenpenny knew about Carl Johnson.
