Did you realize all local people are wearing a beanie. Would help you to stay warm. It is a must in countrys like Finland or Estonia. Body heat will disappear from your head. Stay warm and healthy and take Vitamin C

My girlfriend is Estonian and I've been to Estonia several times. We decided to move from France to live there. It's a beautiful country with a lot of greenery and low pollution. Food is very cheap compared to france especially if you avoid old town Tallinn which is super touristic. Btw you say in your video that there are not that many asians in Tallinn, it is true during the winter but, if you ever go back to old town during the summer, it's actually crowded with asian tourists. Also, Wearing a hat during the winter in estonia is crucial ;).

Nice video again:) Its difference of races. I would be dying in Australia too, i cant stand heat over 25 C. Beginning of video you was right, you must consider wind too, that makes freezing quicker... Tallinn is port city and you can easly add 5-10 C to actual temperature. Stay cool ;)

Indeed, as you may see in Tallinn and also when you travel to Finland or Sweden or Norway, etc, during winter - keep a warm beanie at hand :) A lot of heat escapes through head and a good beanie will keep you warm. But also since there wasn't too much snow then the cold feels more "sharp" as well, with more snow it's usually more mellow.

Mida keegi peab heaks kohviks, kindlasti erineb. Reval Cafes 2. 10. ?ldse igal pool, kus olen käinud on 2 ja Caffeini taolistes kohtades 1.60. Lihtsam oleks öelda, kus on kallim.

Ah, the old pharmacy. Our building restoration teacher gave us a tour there. I found it interesting that, after you go inside the first door, you can still see the original entrance. Made of stone, the old steps are so worn, especially the last one that it almost makes an arch. The pancake place is also awesome. Also you missed out on "Meekook", for some reason, it's one of my favourites. Glad you liked the experience though. :)

3 eur coffee is kind of a mystery here. Estonia somehow managed to get a inflated coffee market. It's like a half hour salary for a lot of Estonians so it kind of became kind of a 'political campaign of reason', literally ads of "why on earth are you buying 3 eur coffee!?" :D At the same time thinking that our problems currently have included among themselves coffee prices I'm kind of glad we don't face bigger problems and we can focus on economic growth as a country.

@@rockmcdwayne1710 Not crazies, i don't like when people think that. I am in t-shirt even when it is -5 to -10 degrees at work, because of my seriously fast metabolism. I can't sleep in a room above 15 degrees, because i feel like i am burning up. People looked at me weird when i went running shirtless (3-7 days a week) while it was +2 to -3 degrees outside, but for me it was more like +25 degrees in summer. Different people, different bodies. First summer heat is actually hell for me, last hot summer was just awful for me, i felt like in the sauna everywhere i was, most of the time i just finished my work(while drinking minimum of 5 litres of water during the 8 hours) and sat under the AC in the house.

Our definition of ‘summer’ is so very different though...lol it’s been bitterly hot here in Australia.it’s 50+ degrees Celsius in Outback and 40+degrees in metropolitan cities. But your body actually feels far hotter than what the weather forecasts reporting. People hardly uses air conditioning unless they really can’t bear the heat at home and it’s even a luxury to use fans, because of incredibly expensive energy price.

Tallinn is really bland and expensive city in Estonia. When you come to Estonia, drive that 2,5h to Southern Estonia, where most of the culture is. I suggest going to Tartu or Viljandi. Cheaper in conclusion and more to watch.

@@LordArioh Selver is the cheapest place in terms of not paying their employees. They offered me a transporter job in there for a massive wage of 550 euros per month- you have to run all day long to get stuff done too, i don't understand why anyone would want to work there. On any Coop chain stores they pay you atleast 700+ in hand for the same job. So Slaver is well said.

I would like to ask if 350-400 euro a month is it enough to live in Tallinn if being a student? Is it good for accommodation rent maybe like dormitory, food and other necessary things? If not, what's the cheapest price for apartment rents. Thank you very much
@guntapartington8255
@guntapartington8255 5 жыл бұрын
KC Manejero it’s been awhile since I lived in Estonia ( left in 2014) however 400 euros has not been sufficient enough for ages. I’d say it was a minimum of 700 euros a month, and that’s under the presumption you either live in the dormitory or share an apartment.

That's more like one month's rent for a small 1 or 2 room apartement and not even in the city centre.

I would say 400 euros a month in dorm is duable, but involves being careful with money. I thing dorms average a 100 euros a month. I lived 2 years ago in dorm (TalTech) for 330 euros a month, but prices have gone up.

Rents inside tallin can range from cheap to incredibly high depending on the specific area you wanna be, it's not hard to find a nice 3 rooms furnished flat (60-70 square meters) in a decent part of tallin for around 750e/month though (water, electricy etc..., not included).
