You should have tried black sausage with lingonberry jam instead of regular sausage. Lingonberry jam and black sausage create a unique taste composition.

It's a town square, so the big building is not church, it's the old town hall.

There is no logic in this sentence allowing you to use connector "so", in most places towns were build around a church, so a church is standing usually in the main market squere.

The Christmas Market looks beautiful, but I'm sure it is cold. I've experienced -22 in Salzburg in my first year. But with all the amazing experiences happening all around you, Christmas is a very special time when you can have a White Christmas. Enjoy and keep having a wonderful time...

By the way, the Christmas market is open after Christmas too, at least until the 6th. And prices drop significantly after Christmas so if you want to visit later on, you can and also get to save up quite a bit. It's still every bit as charming.

My personal favorite is Cherry Glöggi. When I lived in Tallinn I went at the Christmas Market at least once each year and enjoyed it. For some reason it tastes better at the Christmas Market then doing it at home.

Over 500 years ago, the very first Christmas Tree was documented in writing (in Latvian State Archives) in Riga Latvia in the year 1509/1510 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Zp1kia13sM2rqY0.html The Tree of that period was NOT a traditional Evergreen Tree decorated as it is today. It was more a wooden object decorated with fruit and dried flowers and burnt in a fire as a Pagan ritual. The modern Christmas tree also started in both Tallinn and Riga in 2001 as the Christmas Market debuted. www.firstchristmastree.net/ In Riga, there is a written document in the Latvian State Archives to support the 1509/1510 date. The 1509/1510 tree celebration in Riga was hosted by the House of Blackheads - same organization as in Tallinn, but I believe the headquarters was in Riga so I suspect that the events in Tallinn and Riga were somewhat coordinated. Los Angeles. There are various Christmas shopping experiences but kind of hard to pinpoint what would be best (Los Angeles: L.A. Live, The Americana, Farmers Market, etc.), San Diego (Old Town), Santa Barbara (Solvang), San Francisco (Ferry Building, Pier 39, Union Square) and so on. In the Baltic region, I suggest Viking Line ferries between Estonia/Helsinki/Stockholm. It's been several years since I've been there, but the ferry during the off-season was cheaper than dirt. I had an individual cabin. Food though, was expensive, but bring your own if that's an issue. There's also Silja Line, but I've not been on them.

The "church" in city square is Tallinn Town Hall from the year 1530. It is the oldest town hall in Baltic or Scandinavia region :D

Tallinn christmas market is next to to medieval (City hall from 1404), first European christmas tree documental mention in Tallinn in 1441, Berlin 1780, London 1840, Paris 1865. last time in 2015 there were even reindeers, but visitors give them gingerbread, what was not good for reindeers

Every country is unique including India considering its culture and things you can see in it. Another thing is that how accessible those things are for them who live in that country and how bad it is to be working and under the control of power. About half of Estonian people work in Finland or anywhere else and buy things from Latvia because the most of the countries have a luxury and good things to eat if you just have money to buy it.
