Your videos are really well done. Emo looks (without visiting the site yet) looks the most interesting. Pic+any sound file hits my sweet spot. When these systems mature I hope we we get to see what you can produce with them. Your experience and insight help us newbies. Thank you!

Hey! Thanks very much indeed, I really appreciate the feedback. I've a deliberate choice to aim to create content that resonates with serious and aspiring filmmakers, and this means I won't be chasing the views that I'd get if I were to use the various KZfaq tools to make videos about the most popular search terms. I'm following a long-term hunch that eventually, as the AI tools get better and we start to see impressive examples of what can be achieved, more and more independent filmmakers will want to take the AI filmmaking plunge :-)

@@HaydnRushworth-Filmmaker I couldnt agree more. We're getting close. I'd love seeing stories from other cultures that are locked behind budgets and language barriers. Keep up the great work.

We have plenty of tools, but we actually have nothing when it comes to video... midjourney is still the best tool, especially now with the character consistency... with a grain of salt. Let's hope there will also be a sora likeness from midjourney video.

Agree entirely. I’m about to check out the Midjourney character consistency on a test scene this week and see how well it holds up. :-)

What was the prompt for the ai film maker thumbnail
@HaydnRushworth-Filmmaker
@HaydnRushworth-Filmmaker Ай бұрын
The actual prompt was just "a photo of an ai robot camera operator on a movie set using an old retro film camera.". I re-rolled quite a few times, but now that I'm trying to recreate the same imagery, I'm adding things like "black and white with a hint of sepia" and "plain, grey background". Honestly though, this is so much fun to use for generating thumbnails.

Sora has been delayed for an undetermined amount of time. There is a discrepancy between what the sales guys are saying and the developers.

Absolutely, but that seems to be the AI landscape these days anyway... new tools being developed and rushed to Beta at lightening speed, with development ongoing as first-wave users try out the tools. It's like the Wild West... exciting and a little terrifying at the same time ;-)

Here's to the future of having to constantly prove that your film didn't use AI and then no one believing you anyway... Can't wait.

my dear " changing light or a camera angle, with a push of a button " have you bot heard of an Unreal engine, Sir ? .. oh , and EU & AI together, pfffforget about it! I might be forgetting, but I do not recall anyone defending camera - and light person, grippers etc.I'd be actually offended being replaced by a screen and a software throughout a 12year old cam simulate our career. (and actually nailng ti) Ai -still need someone with eyes, and the technical idea behind it, .. and if u don't agree,, ttry typing out a scene setup NOT evena full scene , but just a setup as you would yell "action and if the pain of truth is to real, find me here. we'll tasst"

These are all really good and valid points, I actually agree with you. I've been watching Unreal Engine with real interest to see if it could become the solution I'm looking for. Ideally, I'm hoping for a software tool that is as straightforward as an advanced-level, movie-making video game. We don't have that at the moment, Unreal Engine still requires more skills that the average screenwriter would be willing to develop. In terms of the kinds of films made with AI (eventually), I don't think it will replace the kinds of movies and TV shows that are currently made the traditional way, but rather, I hope it will become a tool that will allow movies to be made that otherwise would never see the light of day. For every script that is turned into a finished movie or TV show, there are hundreds (possibly thousands) of scripts that never make it off the page. This is heartbreaking for the screenwriters who work many, long, heartfelt hours to finish those screenplays, and AI tools could create the opportunity for them to at least create some kind of visual version of their story. That's the group I'm aiming to connect with. Screenwriters, filmmakers, directors and even actors who have a story to tell that will never make it off the page without the help of something like AI (or perhaps, eventually, Unreal Engine).
