Those are the upgraded wheels that give about 10% less range
@sebbbi2

It’s nice that Tesla website clearly tells you how much the wherls upgrade will hurt your range. Other car manufacturers should do the same. Most people are not aware how much wheels matter for EV range. Sporty open wheels have worse aerodynamics.

Also, if AP disengages, when you reverse direction, just pull over, or when waiting at the intersection, put the car into park and then into drive and AP will be available again.

Lack of resume for cruise control took some getting used to. On the Autopilot menu there is an option to set the speed limit with activating, instead of the current vehicle speed. This is more convenient most of the time. You can specify an offset from the speed limit if you want to drive slightly faster. You also can adjust in 1 mph or 5 mph increments with the scroll wheel. Use a quick flick for 5 mph. Not sure what the km/h increments are. I am now used to this and don't mind the lack of a resume feature.

Hi Cris! You're not alone about the autopilot, I rented a model 3 in Florida and on the longest trip we had to do, the so called autopilot decided that I wasn't holding the wheel either. Turn the wheel a bit left and right and it wasn't convinced.

You don't need to put torque on the steering wheel to provide feedback to Autopilot. You can just flick the left scroll wheel up or down, which will do the same thing. It will also avoid any chance of disengaging autosteer.

These 19 inch wheels have always been available, why do you keep running the climate in manual, select Auto it will do everything much better for you. Cruise control uses the interior camera to ensure you are still in control, it will flash on the screen to apply some pressure on the steering wheel, if you don't do this it will disable auto pilot as punishment. Battery will only pre heat if you navigate to a Tesla super charger, this is one area that could do with a Tesla software update.

There's news now and then about battery prototypes that have between 300 and 500 Wh per kg, mostly solid state or semi solid state batteries. If we can get cheap batteries that have over 0.6 kWh per kg we can truly get great range for most BEVs even in demanding conditions such as cold, wet and headwind weather.

I would be very interested in comparison between Model 3 Highland and ID.7. Mainly quality, comfort, noise, TACC. I'm currently driving the Model 3 LR, but ID.7 was my other choice. Missing stalks and "scary" TACC + no reading of speed limits is my main complain of the Tesla
