The e8000 is the same motor on the SCOTT 720 isn't it?
@derekharper60313 жыл бұрын
To be fair, the e8000 has quite a few more miles on it than the EP8 :). I would also think the additional torque is more about how quick you could get to to speed, whereas the final top speed is more about the final gear ratio, so fair to say that as its the same bike running ep8 and e8000 the top speed would be the same..

@benldr Жыл бұрын
Please explain! You made the front chainring bigger? It seems like mine tops out at 26ish mph with 1300mm tires set.

@@benldrmy front chainring is 38T, coming from 32 I think. Also the gears in the back are different. With wind from the back it goes 60+kmh😂

@@yannick9076 I can't fit a bigger chain ring on mine because it's limited with the frame. I also don't think I could go any smaller in the back.

@@ryancharlton6935 No significant effects on battery life or condition after unlocking, In general range remains the similar If you ride consistently above the cut off speed you will use the battery faster but you are also travelling faster so distance covered is only slightly decreased unless you previously spent a lot of ride distance pedaling unassisted above the cut off speed.
